Vineria Dolcevite — Restaurant in Brescia

We chose this restaurant while taking a walk around Brescia. To say we were disappointed, wouldn't be enough. We ordered stuffed toast with cheese, ham and mushrooms, and a pizza with ham, mushrooms and artichokes. After taking a bite of the toast, I already sensed something was off. Thought it was the ham, so I opened the toast to remove it, only to be grossed out by the sight of green mushrooms in it. What I expected of mushrooms in the toast at a restaurant would be champignons, but these I have no idea what were. I left the toast, so I don't know if the ham or mushrooms were off, or worst case both. My partner got the pizza which he finished, leaving some of the mushrooms we found in it (thinking at that time it might be these that were from a can or a jar, maybe with some vinegar or something of this sort due to the taste of the food, every culture has of course different flavors and tastes). It's been now two days with FOOD POISONING, as he hasn't had anything else after that pizza. Ci siamo stati di domenica sera per un aperitivo mentre stavamo facendo un giro per il centro della città! Si trova nella piazza dominata dal Duomo Vecchio e Duomo Nuovo, fuori è veramente grande e riscaldato da tanti funghi, ordinato, suggestivo e molto fashion! Noi, essendo solo in due, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare posto all'interno, che essendo un po' piccolo si riempie facilmente, soprattutto nelle ore di punta! In ogni caso, mi è piaciuto perché si inserisce molto bene in quello che si vede essere un locale, palazzo, decisamente più antico, ma con ovviamente modernità, gusto e un arredamento eclettico ed interessante! Abbiamo preso come aperitivo, un pirlo Campari e uno spritz Aperol: mi è piaciuto davvero molto il pirlo, fatto bene, per niente slavato, carico e gustoso come piace a me! Anche lo spritz non era per nulla male, anzi, ricco e amabile anche quello! Gli stuzzichini che ci hanno servito non erano molti però pizze e focacce credo siano fatte direttamente da loro perché nella saletta c'è anche un forno con cucina! Il servizio è stato molto veloce, infatti pochissimo dopo l'ordinazione ci è arrivato da bere e sono stati molto gentili e disponibili quando abbiamo richiesto degli stuzzichini in più! Per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualità/prezzo, direi assolutamente in linea sia con gli altri locali sia con la zona in cui si inserisce. Sicuramente se vi trovate in zona, vale la pena farci un salto per un aperitivo tipico bresciano a base di pirlo o per un pasto veloce all'ombra di due dei monumenti storici più importanti e rappresentativi...

We ordered one pizza margarita and one pizza marinara. As it is possible to see on the pictures, the pizzas that we ordered didn’t seem like typical marinara and margarita. They definitely lacked the taste, especially the cheese and the tomato sauce. It was very disappointing. Also, after the lunch, we ordered an espresso, it had such an unusual taste, it might be burned.
