Storico Cafè — Restaurant in Brescia

Very nice little cafe on the main square in Brescia, IT. Wonderful view of the entire plaza, the cathedrals and town tower there. Great place to people watch. This is the small-town version of the "cafe society" that is part of so much of Europe. Great place for coffee on a bright sunny morning. The coffee and the service were good. We only had coffee so I cannot speak to the food menu, everything coming out of the kitchen looked good!...

My girlfriend and I ordered a Baileys iced coffee, which was listed at €4 per person. In the end, however, we were charged €16 – supposedly because we got something different. This was never explained to us or made clear in any way.

As customers, we can’t be held responsible if the order was misunderstood. We simply wanted what was written on the menu. To us, it unfortunately feels like a trick to charge more. Very disappointing and not...

My girlfriend and I just wanted to enjoy a Bailey’s Ice Coffee. On the menu it was listed as €4 each, but in the end we had to pay €16. Their excuse: we supposedly got something different – even though we ordered exactly what was written. I’m no expert (and most guests probably aren’t either), so maybe this is a scam. There was no goodwill or apology whatsoever. The view is nice, but I absolutely cannot recommend this...
