Great coffee and nice location, but you need to hope you avoid one of their temper tantrum’s. To give some perspective it’s not happened to me but I’ve seen it happen more than once. I’ve seen the owner/manager be disrespectful, threatening and incredibly manipulative over such trivial things. They then really try to humiliate the customers by threatening to call police and say that they are filming. Which is obviously ridiculous and just doesn’t make sense if there is a mix up of an order. What makes it sickening is that after the customer leaves humiliated they start to laugh about it. It’s not a one off and I’ve read through the comments and found some more examples. In summary you might have a nice drink and chat with friends or you might be humiliated in front of a crowd for nothing. I used to love coming here but today was absolutely terrible experience. No customer service, they don’t care about whether you are having a good time or not and they don’t know how to handle situations. I was in a good mood and ordered coffee, coffee was not that I asked, never mind I asked politely for just bringing more milk but no foam, I received a little cup of foam, then I asked it again, I guess it was too much to ask and I received a rude reply. I didn’t want to stay longer as it’s not pleasant when you don’t feel welcome. Being rude to customers and blaming them for your mistakes is not ok. On top they didn’t try to improve the situation or try to understand a customer’s need, they made the situation 1000 times worse by shouting that if I won’t pay they will call the police! Caffè e brioche squisiti, commesso alla cassa estremamente cafone. EDIT: in risposta alla risposta presumibilmente dello stesso "signore" alla cassa risultato quetsa mattina molto poco accomodante. Dal momento che non tutti sono in grado di accettare le critiche giustamente mosse ad un servizio sgradevole, è bene che si puntualizzino alcune cose. Innanzitutto io e la mia amica eravamo sedute ai tavoli fuori, in cui non c'era quasi nessuno e, contrariamente a quanto scritto sotto la recensione della mia amica, non siamo assolutamente rimaste un'ora e mezza (bugia che rasenta il ridicolo) sedute ai tavoli, se non forse una mezz'ora, orario consono per consumare in tranquillità un pasto. se ci fosse stato pieno fuori avremmo capito questa rimostranza, ma è da ribadire che fuori era vuoto. successivamente ci siamo dirette alla cassa per pagare chiedendo, legittimamente, che ci facesse i conti separati, questione che è stata addotta come motivo di fastidio sempre in risposta alla recensione della mia amica. se chiedere i conti separati è un reato il soggetto in questione deve citarmi l'articolo del codice penale che lo incrimina. è da puntualizzare che io e la mia amica abbiamo preso entrambe un cappuccino e una brioche e, presumendo che avessero lo stesso prezzo abbiamo atteso che ci dicesse quanto dovevamo pagare. dopo alcuni istanti imbarazzanti, il commesso, molto sgarbatamente ci ha informato che c'erano prezzi diversi per ciascuno dei nostri ordini, nessun problema, sono solo i toni che sono stati estremamente fuori luogo dal momento che non abbiamo fatto alcuna richiesta illegittima, nè abbiamo mostrato atteggiamento ostile. perché avremmo dovuto, d'altronde? abbiamo pagato e siamo andate via, per mai più ritornare. io e la mia amica abbiamo entrambe lavorato nel mondo della ristorazione e le persone, che vengono a spendere i loro soldi nella vostra attività, non si trattano in questo modo. e, soprattutto, fareste una figura migliore a prendere la critica e a comportarvi più dignitosamente la prossima volta. per quanto riguarda invece il commento sulla qualità della colazione, a me è piaciuta, non ho ritenuto di conformarmi ai gusti della mia amica (a cui la colazione è stata indifferente) solo perché è mia amica o perché abbiamo ritenuto entrambe scadente il servizio.
