Ristorante Nineteen - 19 — Restaurant in Brescia

We came in for lunch without reservations and they were kind enough to offer us a table. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, they amazed us! The welcome from the team, the attention to service, the quality of the ingredients, everything was perfect. We travel according to food/wine experiences and this was one of our top 3. We of course had Franciacorta wine paired with incredible shrimp/calamari risotto and shrimp with Italian cabbage ancient grain pasta. We couldn’t leave without dessert and finished our meal with aged grappa and coffee. We loved our experienced so much that we returned for dinner! Nadia showed us where they dry their fish and suggested we try that for dinner. The tuna steak. They found us a table for dinner at opening so we happily returned to try the tuna steak, a couple antipasti and another Franciacorta :) Another spectacular experience, that we will never forget. It felt like we were arriving at home for dinner. The entire team, Nadia, Damian, Sam and the others that we did not catch their names, were so detailed oriented, service oriented and their knowledge paired with the pride they have for their profession and restaurant was top notch. Did not plan to come here, but happy I did. The business box lunch (an italian take on the Bento Box) was just perfect. I havent ben able to master the challenge of eating a full course italian meal so to be be able to dine on gourmet food in portions I can handle was what made this so special. "Cucina curata, ottimo servizio e ambiente piacevole". Quella sopra è la mia prima recensione. Ora aggiungo qualche dato in più. Il Nineteen non è un posto dove SI MANGIA bene. E' un posto dove SI STA bene. E' tutto molto curato: l'ambiente, i piatti, il servizio: tutto è finalizzato a regalare un momento di benessere. Si capisce, molto bene, che qualche ora prima dell'apertura del locale e qualche ora dopo la chiusura, tutto lo staff lavora duramente per regalare ai clienti un'esperienza positiva. Ho preso, nella mia ultima visita, il "box bulloni carne" e ho trovato la massima cura in ogni singola portata. Il Nineteen è un luogo dove la qualità prevale di gran lunga sulla quantità, fermo restando che non si esce affatto "con la fame". Non è un ristorante "finto chic", dove mangi poco e spendi tanto. Qui si mangia il giusto e la spesa è in proporzione a tutto quello che ho scritto sopra. Si paga la qualità (tanta) delle materie prime, della preparazione, della presentazione dei piatti.
