I was with a group of people, we sat down for dinner. Servers were quite confused at first on how to manage to sat 6 people when they had only tables for 4. They figured it out and then we ordered some meals. I had 10euro ravioli, which was 9-10 pieces of small ravioli tasting like from store. Too expensive for what I was provided. My colleagues had burger with chips. It was literally chips (not french fries) and a piece of meat. No “burger”. We liked over-the-top Christmas decorations (it’s beginning of November), but the place is way overpriced for what they offer. Suscitano affetto e simpatia, ma c’è da lavorare… Mi imbatto in questa bisteccheria per le numerose recensioni ed arrivo ad ora di apertitivo. Mi accomodo, vengo accolto in modo cordiale, simpatico… insomma tutto giusto. Scelgo un gin tonic che chiedo di “agrumare” a piacere del bar, ed in effetti arriva un gin tonic (tonic e gin) agrumato molto dissetante e, per i miei gusti, poco alcolico. Ma va bene. Però, amici miei: guardate la foto. E’ mai possibile servire un drink in modo così triste? Non c’è un tovagliolino, un sottobicchiere, non un salatino, uno snack… i drinks vanno serviti SEMPRE con un accompagnamento. Sempre. Non va chiesto, ordinato o altro; deve arrivare CON l’aperitivo. Fossero anche solo olive o noccioline. Caspita, è un aperitivo! Andiamo alla cena (si, da temerario mi sono fermato a cena) per riuscire a bere il secondo drink (gli ho chiesto il bis, con modifica nelle proporzioni e mi hanno accontentato!!!) ho chiesto un piatto di affettati e formaggi: bene. Gustoso. Ovviamente i formaggi sono regionali/locali: fantastici. Gli affettati… buoni ma non necessariamente regionali così come i peperoncini “sweetdrop”. Linguine arselle e bottarga: buone. Ovvio che io (cattivo) in bisteccheria ordini un piatto di pasta… però me lo sono goduto. Cremoso il giusto, gustoso… insomma bravi (è facile sbagliare un piatto come linguine e vongole…) Riassunto: 4 stelle perché non ho mangiato malissimo, non ho bevuto malissimo. Ma non 5 perché benché le basi e la volontà ci sia, manca qualche accortezza. Premio l’entusiasmo di fare ristorazione, i giovani che si danno da fare. Con la certezza che il loro entusiasmo li porti ad essere più professionali. Andateci, e fatemi sapere...

Good cacio a pepe, the other pasta werent tasty - we had amatriciana (it came with ground meet which didnt smell good) and ravioli which came in the same sauce as the amatericiana. We waited quite long for food which was arriving in different time, from first dish to the last one lasted around...
