I would give this cafe a zero if it was an option. It was the only place to get something to eat as it was a holiday and the restaurants were full. There was really only one choice of sandwich too, salami. As one of the two men was being combative with me over my drink order he told me he put some “special love” in my sandwich. For 2 very basic sandwiches, a soda, sparking water and very basic bottle of beer that they didn’t open, they charged 24 euros. I threw my sandwich away. I wasn’t interested in eating a sandwich with “special love”. Bring a picnic or make reservations. Do not eat here.

This was a true oasis in the overcrowded beach! The drinks and included appetizers were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and good humoured, even with some complicated clients always around. The prices are relatively high (cocktail for 10 euros), but not more than one should expect in a location like this. The place is strictly a beach bar with a few options for eating, so if you are looking for a full course lunch, better go elsewhere (I believe some bad reviews and food photos are actually meant for other businesses nearby)

The most bad touristic place to eat in liguria! It's enough to read the invoice in the photo! No service, very rude, a waiter that he doesn't knows how to walk throw the table, crashing angaist customers. The only thing they have:the position. Don't give money to grow up this foulish tourism! 6 euro for a half liter of brewed wine!

The staff have a lot of attitude and will talk down to you. The first time, I bought a small bottle of juice and a ham sandwich, which was horrible - more bread than ham, bread felt crusty and old. Both cost me 7.50 euros. Then I came in again to buy 2 bottles of water at 4 euros and asked to sit briefly to collect myself from the intense heat. I wasn't planning on spending a long time at a table, I just wanted to collect myself a little bit and the older lady, not sure her name, said no because they are busy at lunch time... There were many empty tables. I hate giving money to places like these where they know you have few options (San Fruttuoso is small and there is not much around). My advice is if you come to SF, bring your own packed lunch and drinks... At least you won't feel so aggrieved by paying money to...

We spent over $50 dollars in this restaurant just to get terrible service. BARBARA, was mad and kept saying "FINE,FINE,FINE!" After I decided to share a meal with my girlfriend and my friend ordered bread because he was allergic to seafood. BARBARA, walked away from our table and, in Italian, said I can't wait for September when tourists are gone. She didn't know we knew some Italian and that we were staying for four months.

Other friends also went the same day not knowing what happened to us and attempted order pasta with a white sauce. The restaurant then rudely served them cooked pasta with nothing on it.

Never go to this place. They don't want your service. The restaurant, I should add, was not even full to give attitude for sharing a $24 plate...
