Yi Fan "Trattoria Cinese" — Restaurant in Carrara

After several days of Italian cuisine, we wanted a change and decided to visit Yi Fan, a highly-rated Chinese restaurant. And WOW, we were so glad we did.

We ordered three dishes, each of which tasted amazing and authentic. They adjusted the spiciness to our preference, allowing us to fully enjoy the meal despite our low tolerance for spicy food.

The service by the young Chinese lady was professional and attentive as well.

Even though the restaurant is very new and could need some more cozy elements in the interior, the Food overuled all my considerations about this. We ordered too much Food because we wanted to try a lot of different things but the staff where so nice and gave us the rest for take away. For 50-60 € you Can easily Eat and drink 4 persons. Attirati dalle recensioni positive e dal menu abbiamo deciso di provare. Devo dire che la selezione dei piatti è il vero punto di forza del locale. Proposte diverse dalle solite che si vedono nei ristoranti cinesi italiani, una cucina cinese fatta per i cinesi. Per una volta è il gusto italiano che deve adattarsi alla cucina e non il contrario. Tant'è che anche dei banalissimi ravioli hanno un gusto diverso e mai sentito prima, una meraviglia. Gentilissima la cameriera che mi ha guidata nella scelta, essendo allergica all'aglio mi ha fatto preparare dei piatti apposta parzialmente fuori menù. Mio marito si è lasciato tentare dalle budella di maiale saltate e ne avrebbe mangiato 10 porzioni da quanto erano buone. I piatti sono molto piccanti ma basta chiedere di togliere o diminuire il peperoncino e lo fanno senza problemi Dovessimo ricapitare a Carrara torneremo...
