This time we had antipasto le tre chiavi, our fav, gnocchi, misto di carne and arrosticini with oven baked potatoes. Last but not least we had their home made tiramisu ….. the perfect ending to a perfect meal. The wine selection is impeccable, offering the perfect pairing for every dish

For the "Primi": the pasta dishes were of the highest quality, with excellent and generous shavings of tartufo and fresh mushrooms, they captured all of the distinct flavours of the mountains of Abruzzo. For the "Secondi": the best agnello in Castel di Sangro. For the "vini": the red wine was outstanding, the best-tasting 1/2 liter house selection in town. And finally, the "Dolci": the house-made tiramisu was rich with coffee flavour and mascarpone, perhaps the best in town. I say perhaps, only because there are so many good tiramisu offerings in Castello. I now have an obligation to try them all again in order to give a more accurate assessment; a difficult process. But, the tiramisu at Le Tre Chiavi definitely ranks in the Top Two, with #1 being the possible final outcome. Se cercate un posticino intimo e raffinato, in cui il trascorrere del tempo trova una pausa culinaria all'insegna della qualità, avete scelto proprio il posto giusto. In sala Alba, la proprietaria ed il simpaticissimo fratello Giovanni sono una forza della natura: cordialità e professionalità sono il loro punto di forza, senza parlare della spiccata attenzione al cliente, soprattutto se è comodamente adagiato su sedia a rotelle... I piatti, abbondanti e presentati originalmente dal cuoco-marito, poi, sono la delizia del palato: un tripudio di sapori, divinamente abbinati che fanno risvegliare le papille gustative anche ad un uomo delle nevi...😄 Tutti i piatti meritano un assaggio, ma se volete far esplodere di estasi gusto, vista ed olfatto, dovete provare assolutamente i ravioloni ai profumi di bosco con salsa di funghi e grattugiata di tartufo fresco e vero. Sublimi! Particolari e raffinati anche i ravioli campagnoli con pesto di cicoria selvatica, guanciale croccante e noci, che purtroppo, coi precedenti, non ho fatto in tempo a fotografare, tanto era la stimolazione sensoriale e ... la fame😄! Ottime le minestre, specie taccozze e fagioli che il nostro divoratore seriale di minestre ha gradito molto! (oggi c'erano i cazzarielli pasta fresca tagliata a mò di ceci, buonissimi). Avrò modo di provare anche i secondi piatti, specie il filetto di maialino nero con pancetta e granella di pistacchio o il filetto di manzo al pepe verde... Non mancherà occasione, vista la qualità, la raffinatezza e la ricchezza delle portate. I dolci? Estasianti! C'è l'imbarazzo della scelta! Tutti fatti in casa ed abbondanti, come dice Alba: "le porzioni gourmet noi non le facciamo" 🤣Un' idea? Profiterols appena sfornati con crema chantilly ed intervallati da ciuffetti di panna, mega tiramisù, ottima panna cotta, morbide e gustose ferratelle... Che dire? Se potessi metterei una costellazione di stelle ma più di cinque non si possono scegliere. P.s. Impeccabili e raffinati anche per la pulizia, la cura e l'igiene dei servizi igienici, compresi quelli per disabili! Ristorante "Le tre chiavi" particolare anche per il significato profondo del nome... Un abbraccio Alba! 😘 Ci vediamo sicuramente per festeggiare i miei 40 anni! ......
