From the moment we walked in staff made us feel welcomed .. two of the waiters quickly clocked in that we were tourist in Italy and immediately stiked a conversation with us and that conversation was very friendly a perfect way to promote tourism in Italy but most importantly a perfect way to guest made feel welcome to La Quintessa Ristorante & Cocktail Bar

One of the staff had spent good time in London and engaged in future conversation he definitely missed been in London but very happy to be back in Italy with family

Once we were seated a very helpful lady made our life easy by translating the menu for us followed by recommending good house wine to go along with the meal we ordered

Great menu choice,a massive plus with good choice of desserts. The dishes were individually priced along with a short discription with ingredients

We ordered couple of startes and then ordered Tuna, chicke and a prawns dish in mains followed by dessert.. wont have any pic for desert as we went all in for it haha

Most importantly they were all served in right timely manner

Meal was delicious and wine went well and desserts we got digging in we loved every spoon of it ...

Before leaving the restaurant visited the washroom and the theme of quirky decors is uniform.. i liked it .. great decor

I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this place if you are visiting lake...

The atmosphere was all Christmasy and cozy, though it is a very crammed space where seats are close to each other and every corner is filled with all kinds of paraphernalia. Service was sufficient, reasonably prompt though not all too careful and aware. Many (too many?) entries in the menu, like one of those places that doesn’t do good with any particular preparation. Portions were overly abundant, much more than expected. Entrees and first courses sufficient, not particularly good nor bad. The second courses and especially the meat (tagliata steak and the filet) were exceptionally good, I dare say some of the best I have had since much time: great ingredients and very well made. So were the desserts. All in all, it’s a place that (if my experience is any indication of their usual performance) one must visit time and again...

Locale davvero molto bello esteticamente, ma ho avuto esperienze contrastanti e sinceramente non so se ci ritornerò. I prezzi sono abbastanza alti, rispetto ad altri posti, comunque in linea con quelli vicini, ma almeno, in questo caso, sono giustificati dalla location curata e dal cibo molto buono. La prima volta abbiamo fatto un aperitivo misto con bottiglia di vino e sono rimasta soddisfatta soprattutto perché era composto da tutte monoporzioni non-scontate, quindi qualcosa di diverso rispetto a quello che si trova in giro di solito. La seconda volta siamo tornati per un dopocena, era già mezzanotte, il locale era strapieno con musica e qualcosa che assomigliava al karaoke, quindi ci siamo accomodati senza preoccuparci per l'orario, anche perché nessun cameriere ci ha avvisati di niente. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino e un panino con patatine fritte. Panino buonissimo, ma il tutto è stato condito da una musica davvero davvero troppo alta che non ci permetteva neanche di parlare (nonostante fossimo in un angolino lontano del locale). Il vero problema però è stato il servizio quella sera. Ogni 5 minuti passava il cameriere per vedere se avessimo finito, hanno provato anche a portarci via il piatto con ancora del cibo. Mi è sembrato strano all'inizio, poi ho capito che stavano iniziando la chiusura, quindi abbiamo cominciato a sbrigarci per evitare di creare problemi ai camerieri (gliel'ho anche detto, scusandoci, perché mi sentivo in colpa). Ma questa cortesia non è stata eguagliata, ci hanno letteralmente tartassati, venendo al tavolo in continuazione, più o meno con qualche scusa, fino a che non ci hanno cacciati senza darci neanche il tempo di finire la bottiglia e di pagare in maniera tranquilla. Sono rimasta spiacevolmente colpita perché nessuno ci ha avvisati quando siamo arrivati o quando abbiamo ordinato da mangiare (il che implica che ovviamente una persona ha intenzione di rimanere nel locale almeno un'oretta), se ci avessero detto qualcosa avremmo ordinato di meno o saremmo andati altrove senza rancore, ma soprattutto ci sono rimasta male per i modi scorbutici con cui siamo stati mandati via. In sintesi: servizio non altezza del locale,...
