NASELLI — Restaurant in Castelbuono

We only tried gelatos. Home made and great ones. A bit expensive but it's a touristic place... A good service in many languages. They like what they're doing and to chat.

Notice that for their sorbet, they only use water, sugar and fruits. No milk the most part of the time so it's a bit less creamy than most of the gelatos you can...

Two stars for the setting on the plaza. Two cappuccini for 7€+1€ service charge is not acceptable. Plain cappuccino of mediocre quality, no cookies. On all tables were used dishes and no customers keeping the waiter from cleaning up. Still we had to clear a table for us. Next time we will be again at the neighboring tables...

Oggi ho fatto un'esperienza davvero singolare: ho conosciuto per caso Rosario Naselli, titolare di questo locale, che si trova nella piazza centrale di Castelbuono mentre Gustavo un ottimo spuntino di rosticceria. Rosario mi ha letteralmente affascinato nel raccontare come viene creato un VERO GELATO ARTIGIANALE. La sua passione per il suo lavoro di MAESTRO è evidente e io lo ringrazio per avermi trasferito queste preziose notizie. Per non parlare, poi, degli ASSAGGI: il gelato di NOCCIOLA, CIOCCOLATO e TORRONE sono tra i più buoni io abbia mai assaggiato in vita mia. Ma la vera sorpresa e delizia sono la GRANITA di MANDARINO e quella di MANDORLE che, sottolineo, FANNO CONCORRENZA ALLE MIGLIORI GRANITE DELLA SICILIA ORIENTALE!!!
