Uva Club — Restaurant in Castelbuono

Terrible experience. Honestly, I was very disappointed with this place. The person who rented us the accommodation told us to come here, and since it had a 4.8 rating, we decided to try it. The food was below average for the price. We ordered a carpaccio that looked like a generous portion, but underneath the slices of meat there was a mountain of lettuce, completely dry. For the main course, we asked for a recommendation, and the person who served us suggested the dish of the day, which turned out to be extremely overpriced for what it was. The octopus and calamari had no flavor, and the salad was extremely poor quality. They brought us our starters but didn’t bring any cutlery for several minutes, we had to go and ask for it ourselves. We asked for water twice, and it never came. And when I ordered a second glass of wine, they served me significantly less than they did my partner, even though my glass wasn’t empty yet. had the pleasure of dining at Uva Club last night, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambience was truly exceptional – warm, inviting, and beautifully designed to set the perfect tone for an evening out. The service was attentive and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience.

As for the food, it was truly impressive. I opted for the degustation menu, which I highly recommend. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and delivered wonderful flavors that complemented each other beautifully. My only slight disappointment was that my meat was cooked to a different temperature than I’d requested. However, it was still incredibly tender and flavorful, so I didn’t mind too much.

All in all, it was an outstanding meal, and I’d certainly go back to experience it...

We went here two times during our stay in Castelbuono, because after the first time we were still dreaming about their food and we absolutely needed it again before we left! They serve local food, the more hearty cuisine from the mountains around Castelbuono and also seafood. Great selection of wines and the service had superb recommendations (try the dishes of the day!). Also the menu degustazione had amazing value for money, I absolutely recommend it!
