Kyo — Restaurant in Castelfranco Veneto

We were in Italy visiting family and we’ve been at Kyo twice. The food wasn’t actually that bad and ok value for money. However what was really Horrible was the staff and the service! First of all they claim €10.90 all you can eat but it is very clear that they are disappointed if you order a lot of food and even tell you not to order until you finish what you are eating otherwise they will charge you €5 per dish if you leave it on the plate. I think at 41 years old I know what I can manage to eat and I don’t need being treated like a child. Then if the restaurant isn’t busy they will not let you sit where you would prefer even if the table remains empty all the time that you are in there consuming your meal. To make matters worse it was very obvious that the staff made fun of their customers and laughed about them talking in their own language without knowing that I can actually understand it having lived in their country for sometime. I did not appreciate their attitude towards me perhaps it was the fact that I’m a big girl or that I ordered more food than they could/would eat, I don’t know but I wish they had common sense to make their comments where the customers can’t hear them. just awful; if you have a problem with the amount of food people eat, don’t bother with an all you can eat menu, it’s that simple! Service is also very slow and the taste of the same dishes was very different between the first and second visits, perhaps because they recognised me and thought it was a good idea to treat me even worse than the first...

A very elegant all you can eat reataurant with a very wide selection of sushi. The food is on point. The service is punctual and very polite but a little bit less warm then the usual Italian place. At the end of the meal, they were kind enough to offer a shot of sake on the house. I really appreciate it. The place deserves a visit.

Few day after, I went back to Kyo with more people. The experience was amazing. Even my guests were positively satisfied...

Siamo arrivati qui attratti da un cartello pubblicitario di fronte alle mura di Castelfranco. Formula all you can It col prezzo allettante di 10,90. Peccato che il prezzo sul cartellone era bello ingannevole dato che non riportava il sovrapprezzo del coperto di 2 euro a persona. Ma questa fregatura è irrilevante rispetto alla qualità del cibo. Scadente, assolutamente scadente: a me che sono appassionatissima di sushi, ha rovinato il resto della giornata.Non riesco davvero a capire le recensioni positive alle quali mi sono affidata prima di entrare! Lavorano forse diverse squadre di personale? Fanno inoltre accomodare le persone senza sparpagliarle,concentrandole in una parte della sala non rispettando la distanza di un metro fra i tavoli.E' stata la prima volta che ci sono entrata? Bene è anche l'ultima! Ma io dico: come si fa a tenere nei pressi del bellissimo centro un simile posto? Non è adeguato alla bellissima...
