Nice food , except for the meat balls in one of their local dish’s which were not the greatest. Overall the atmosphere was not too bad considering we had space to speak and eat in peace , but this atmosphere was definitely interrupted by the horrible service we received. I feel because we did not order several courses nor did we order several drinks they treated us much worse. To begin , they removed our water from the table before the meal without asking , and we finally received a singular glass of still water 25/30 minutes later after asking twice. The staff did not look at us when paying the bill , which we also had to ask twice for. They threw the receipts and the bill down on the table , almost in our faces when paying , and decided to give attention to tables neighbouring us rather than waiting for us to pay the bill. Add to the menu the Pizzas (not at lunch) and the special ones. Very high quality of ingredients plus exceptional making.
In our party we order sirloin in gorgonzola sauce, risotto frutti di mare, and I ordered an out of menu special, spaghetti with sea urchins.
All dishes were excelent.
The place is an old wine cantine remodeled and converted in a restaurant. Very classy but minimalist. Very good taste in the decor.
The service was at a high level. Nothing to say. People is marvellous at this place.
