Osteria Qui — Restaurant in Castellammare del Golfo

My recent visit to Osteria Qui in Castellamare del Golfo last February was an absolute delight. The staff, incredibly kind and friendly, recommended the Busiate con Gamberi e Pistacchi pasta dish, a recommendation I'm grateful for. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the shrimp and pistachios complementing each other perfectly. What's more, the absence of a coperta charge was a pleasant surprise. This was undeniably one of the best meals I've had in Sicily, and I can't wait to return to savor more of Osteria Qui's culinary delights. It was soooo delicious, really loved everything. Keep in mind that portions are huge. I had an absolutely incredible pasta with shrimps and pistachio I wish I could finish it all, it is just wow. Also my burrata tomato and house wine were both spot on in taste. Also great prices , best reserve your table. Although I arrived way early right when they opened , and I had the whole terrace just for myself, it was kind of them to let me have my dinner. Siamo capitati in questa osteria a Castellammare quasi per caso, e devo dire che è stata una gran bella scoperta. Si mangia davvero bene, la cucina merita tanto. ​Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di tonno e gamberi rossi... ragazzi, freschissimo. Il tonno era morbidissimo e i gamberi dolci, una favola. Vi dico solo che il gambero non era pulito, ma quando è così fresco quasi non ci fai caso, anzi, capisci subito che la roba è buona. ​Poi abbiamo preso le busiate. Mamma mia che primo! Pasta cotta al punto giusto, con un sughetto cremoso e un po' piccantino che legava tutto alla perfezione. Ci siamo bevuti sopra un vinello bianco della casa, freddo e piacevole, che andava giù benissimo. ​Ora, siccome si mangia così bene, le piccole pecche si notano di più. Abbiamo aspettato un bel po' tra l'antipasto e il primo, e l'attesa onestamente ha un po' rotto il ritmo della cena. Un'altra cosa: appena seduti, sarebbe stato carino ricevere subito un po' di pane, invece abbiamo aspettato un po' con il tavolo vuoto. Sono piccolezze, lo so, ma in un posto con una cucina così buona farebbero la differenza. Lo dico come consiglio, ovviamente. ​La prova che ci è piaciuto? È che ci siamo tornati una seconda volta dopo pochi giorni! E abbiamo mangiato di nuovo benissimo, quindi non è stato un caso. Anzi, penso che ci torneremo ancora. Per quello che si spende, la qualità è veramente alta. ​Insomma, andateci perché la cucina merita davvero. Se sistemano quelle piccole cose in sala, per me diventa uno dei migliori in zona....
