Welcome to Sushi Club! Where the fish is fresh, the vibes are tight… and so is the seating! We pride ourselves on being inclusive as long as you can climb Mount Everest, otherwise known as our staircase to the only decent tables in the building! Look! We have a ramp! Accessibility? Check! Inside seating that actually fits a wheelchair? HA! Don’t be ridiculous. And if you can’t levitate upstairs, no problem we’ll panic immediately and offer you the couch nobody wants, followed by the genius suggestion of folding up your very expensive wheelchair and leaving it out of sight in a foreign country! What could go wrong? Need help? Don’t worry, we’ve got untrained staff ready to yeet you up those stairs like a sack of sushi rice. Because nothing says ‘fine dining’ like risking a neck injury for nigiri! At Sushi Club, we believe in two things: excellent sushi and turning accessibility into an Olympic sport. Prima esperienza con questo giapponese un paio di giorni fa. Ci siamo capitati di sabato e - senza saperlo - nel periodo promozionale con il -20% di sconto. Risultato: un delirio organizzativo. Pur avendo prenotato abbiamo fatto 10/15' di coda all'ingresso perché una sola persona smistava chi aveva le prenotazioni, chi no, chi telefonava e chi ordinava per il take away. Il locale è molto vasto, l'arredamento curato, luce soffusa su toni seppia molto caratteristici ed è corredato di pannelli a metà altezza dal soffitto che oltre ad un effetto estetico molto particolare abbattono efficacemente il frastuono derivante dalla mole di persone. Si ordina segnando su un foglietto codice piatto e quantità richiesta. Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto: le porzioni sono microscopiche. Essendo un all you can eat non c'è la fregatura perché si possono prendere quanti piatti si vuole ma se volete uscire un po' sazi dovete prenderne TANTI - cosa che permette di assaggiare di tutto un po'. A differenza di altri a.y.c.e. non fanno storie se si ordina un secondo giro. Complessivamente a noi è andata bene: in 10' dall'ordine abbiamo iniziato a mangiare ma i due tavoli che avevamo di fianco hanno dovuto aspettare rispettivamente 25' e 45' prima che gli arrivasse la prima portata (ci eravamo seduti tutti insieme). Sul secondo giro l'entropia è aumentata... Qualità del cibo ineccepibile: pesce fresco (sashimi ottimo), roll curati e saporiti, nighiri molto buoni, ravioli saporiti ma con la pasta forse un pelo cedevole. Migliorabile solo la tempura, buona ma un po' unta - cosa che in genere questa frittura non deve essere. Personale molto giovane, un po' inesperto, volenteroso ma totalmente a zero con l'italiano. Adesso capisco perché fanno ordinare tramite bigliettino e codice! In due, con acqua e birra ma senza caffé siamo usciti con 45€. Senza lo sconto sarebbero stati 55€ - forse giustificati dalla qualità del cibo ma non da quella dell'organizzazione. Da dargli una seconda chance ma non in quelle...

The sushi is not that good as in Lin Sushi restaurant but the waiters are like a machines - fast and close to you when you need someone (or just or table was on the right spot). The experience worth the price. The restaurant is for kids, or the size of the table and seats seemed that small to me. You may kill yourself trying to find your table back from the WC or in it because of darkness or the mirrors everywhere on the walls. It was too tight for non-kid sized people.
