Absolutely pathetic excuse for a steak at this restaurant, limited menu so I guessed I’d be safe by ordering the most expensive single dish but oh was I wrong. €30 for a ribeye with Potatoes au gratin. I don’t know what they did with the rest of my steak but I swear they gave me a meal for a child. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was served well done and over seasoned. I am a salt lover and can’t say I could ever say there was too much salt on any meal at any restaurant I’ve been to in my life. I would not have eaten this if I wasn’t starving and not wanting to walk somewhere else. The potatoes au gratin ended up being miniature potatoes the size of olives. No clue why they would call them au gratin. My wife got the Tagiatelle which was decent but still small and nowhere near as good as any other restaurant we visited in Italy. We had to go search for our waiter a few times despite being the only customers in the restaurant and to top it all off we get slapped with an €8 lack of service charge. Per il ristorante dell'Hotel "Il Coriandolo" non ci siamo proprio. Nel 2011 sono stato molto deluso. Ho ordinato un menù a 4 portate, una peggio dell'altra, culminata al dessert che ne io ne i miei clienti abbiamo mangiato. Serata rovinata. Nel 2012, fiducioso e previa raccomandazione con il maître, si è verificata la stessa brutta esperienza. Anche alcune sedie erano barcollanti... Devo dare una sola stella e mi dispiace.
