Trattoria Del Sole — Restaurant in Catania

I will begin with something good: tiramisu was nice. Now escalating to the bad: I waited around an hour for pasta only. Four tables were taken (including me) at this time and it still took them an hour. No one apologized for that surely. I had pasta with shrimps and rucola, but it consisted of oil, very hard garlic, lots of pasta (I think they put all the pack), rucola and tiny tiny overcooked shrimps (smaller than a pinky toe) some of which were in their shells !!! You don’t expect that to happed with shrimps of cocktail size therefore when you bite on them you might be very surprised. And that’s your restaurant near the sea)) with no view at the sea also. Avoid - bad food and service. We specifically walked to trattoria del sole for a good distance Instead of visiting the other beach options based on the good overall reviews, and unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. They brought me different pasta than I had ordered, and when I politely asked them about it, simply said the other one was out, shrugged, and walked off. My girlfriends grilled vegetables were burned to a black crisp and largely inedible so we sent them back, and instead of having them removed from the bill, they charged €7 instead of €8. I don't usually write reviews and have never written anything bad about any site, but I have been compelled to write this review. The first night we arrived late and they said the kitchen was closed. They served us a sandwich while we watched as pasta dishes came out for other tables. The second night we arrived at 8:30 p.m. and our pasta dishes did not come out until 10:00 p.m., while other tables that had arrived later, ordered the same pasta as us, were served, and left.
