This was a wonderful culinary alternative to pasta and pizza! Breakfast pastries in the shop, lunch take out and then dinner back in the shop, so we just kept coming back for more! The handmade fresh Lebanese pastries were exceptional and a perfect match to the high quality coffee being used. Dinner was prepared with attention to the best ingredients. I never thought falafel, stuffed grape leaves and baba ganoush could taste so good! They have a wide variety of pasties all hand made in the shop and very fresh. The dinner menu selection was purposefully simple, such that each dish was memorable. Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the shop, it is much more than just gelato. This small restaurant really stands out above anything else we experienced in Cernobbio. The owners were so friendly and so such a nice alternative to the hustle bustle of the nearby tourist...

We stopped by this local gelato spot in Lake Como just for a quick after-dinner dessert—and ended up having one of the most memorable experiences of our trip.

The gelato we ordered was fantastic, but what truly made the visit special was the owner’s passion. He enthusiastically recommended his unique coffee and homemade kanaffah pistachio desserts (made by his wife), and we’re so glad we took his advice—every single bite was five-star worthy.

But the highlight wasn’t just the incredible desserts or even the lovely conversation. When a sudden downpour left us stranded without a ride, the owner personally drove us back to our hotel. That kind of generosity and kindness is rare and unforgettable.

Gelateria Crema & Cioccolato in Cernobbio is an absolute gem. Nestled on Via Alessandro Volta 3, this charming, family-run spot is owned by Fadi and Nadine—a truly lovely Lebanese couple whose warmth and kindness make the experience unforgettable.

The walnut and fondante gelato were exceptional—rich, creamy, and full of depth. But the real surprise was their homemade cannelloni wrapped in a knefe shell—a genius fusion that beautifully blends Lebanese and Italian flavors.

What made it even more special were the heartfelt conversations and genuine hospitality. Fadi and Nadine made us feel so welcomed—it felt less like a visit to a shop and more like being invited into someone’s home.
