Trattoria Laghee — Restaurant in Cernobbio

We stayed at the hotel above the trattoria following a weekend camping at the Monza Grand Prix in jolly warm weather. Arriving earlier than expected we needed to rouse attention as there is no hotel reception and the trattoria was closed. But we were greeted by a very friendly and relaxed proprietor. The room was stunning. Spacious, great balcony, good artwork, roomy bathroom. All spectacularly well finished. It is a short walk from the banks of Lake Como. We couldn't work out how to lock ourselves in at night but this was soon sorted with cunning arrangement of a chair. There was no coffee facility but the trattoria delivered freshly made coffee to our room on request which we enjoyed on the balcony. The room pictured here is where we stayed for 4 nights.It's even better in person. The room is very large and loved the way it's decorated. It's very cool and hip, with lots of high end comforts. The bathroom was large and very beautiful with thick lovely towels. Luigi met us in the trattoria downstaris when we arrived. His english is not very good and our Italian is not good, but we did fine. He was very helpful and when we had dinner at the Trattoria, he sat us in the best table and sent after dinner drinks to our table! My husband and I loved staying there. We got terrific value! so if you're looking for a great, well located place to stay I'm Cernobbio and not break your bank account, stay with Luigi at Trattoria Laghee and don't forget to have a dinner downstairs at...
