Stumbled across this place while exploring the area. My wife and I were in Chieti for the day exploring where my family came from. We found this place based on reviews and decided to give it a try. We spent 10 days in Italy and this was one of if not the best meal we had. I honestly think about this place multiple times a week. The owner was also one of the nicest people. He was so appreciative that 2 American tourists chose his restaurant to dine in. We had the rudest older mam wait on us and we were allowed 2 pick 2 types of pasta for 6 people, so we were forced to to all eat the same, it was horrible and they ran out of 2 meats we wanted and instead of expaling what we could substitute he we are out ,it's 3 o'clock, did you think you find anything at this hour. The best restaurant we’ve been to during our weeklong stay in Italy. The service, the quality of ingredients, the focaccia, the wine… everything exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by everything that was served and especially blown away by the price at the end! What a bargain for absolutely stunning food!
