FOOD & INTOLLERANCES: PERFECT FOR GLUTEN FREE The food is very good, the fish is fresh. They do their own homemade desserts. They are very careful when they prepare food for people with allergies and intolerances: I have been there many times, and I never had problems. A lot of choices for celiac: they have gluten free pasta (boiled separately from the other), they prepare gluten free desserts (there is an almond carrot cake which is both gluten free and vegan), their fried products are safe because they fry the fish with rice flour. They have fish for everyone: from the light fish ragù very mild and good for children, and to "baccalà mantecato" or "sarde in store" which both have strong flavors.

SERVICE & LOCATION: The personell is kind, and the owner is funny. When he suggests you well when ordering food and wines. The place is clean. Better to order a table because they get full easily because the locals love to eat there.

Chi ama la cucina lagunare veneta non può perdersi questo ristorante di Chioggia, una delle poche vere città di pescatori rimaste in laguna, che vi consigliamo assolutamente di visitare. Nel periodo giusto potrete trovare delle ottime moeche, ottime fritture di stagione, spaghetti con le cicale di mare perfetti, un antipasto misto molto buono, ottimi dolci, discreta scelta di vini. La nostra scelta per il bere è stata un grande classico: un Lugana Doc di Ca'dei Frati, ottima per accompagnare piatti di pesce grazie al perfetto equilibrio tra sapidità e note fruttate. Vino tecnico e "convenzionale" ma a mio parere buono e pulito. Molto piccolo e un po' affannoso l'ambiente, che è comunque piacevole considerato tutto. Una grande pecca nel servizio del vino. Prima del Lugana avevo chiesto un Prosecco di Bele Casel che mi è stato portato addirittura con la muffa sul tappo e ho ragione di temere che chi me lo stava servendo se ne sia reso conto ed abbia fatto finta di niente. Un po' senza senso il bavaglino da aragoste per la pasta con le cicale ma comunque non mi sento di giudicare negativamente una cosa che mi ha fatto sorridere.
