My wife and I were on our way to the airport in Palermo after a two week Sicilian vacation. We wanted one last authentic meal and were reluctant to have it in the airport. We didn't have much time, but found this restaurant with a quick search. When I walked in there was a group of Italian Coast Guardsmen sitting in the dining room and no one else, for a moment I thought they were closed to the public, but when I asked the the host said they were open. We sat down and I started by apologizing and telling him we were in a rush, because the last thing you should do (or can do in most cases) in Italy is rush a meal. We both ordered spaghetti with clams, and a glass of wine. This is one of my favorite meals and I'd had it several times through Sicily, and this may have been the best, the bread was also delicious. We were in and out in 45 minutes, the host offered coffee, limoncello, desert, but we had to decline and it killed me to say no. Highly recommended, but make sure you have ample...

We must bear in mind that this hotel is not the primary function of the business, which is a well-known local seafood restaurant.

Know in advance: +There is some free parking on-site, especially after the restaurant winds down mid-day or at night. +Its location is extremely convenient for access to the airport. +You can enjoy an easy walk to the Sicilian cart museum and other interests in nearby Terrasini.

-The taps (sink, shower) in our room ran only salt water. It is not potable. This aspect of our stay was troubling. Bring your own water. -Have a look at other reviews of the hotel itself, especially concerning the hygiene of the rooms.

As long as you’re...

Excellent sea food and fish restaurant. We went there on a Wednesday for lunch, the place filled up with local people as we were there. We ate a big plate of Antipasti misti that were simply delicious, we chose what we wanted in the mix and were happily surprised with the quantity of food that we got served. Natale took care of us and knew so much about what was on the menu and guided us on what to take and we did not regret following his advice on the dessert that was amazing. (Picture attached) Strongly recommend this place, they have a good offer for a big menu for 35€ with antipasti, primi, secondi and drinks including wine.

Bad. Service was very unpolite. Took our plates ane cutlery after apetizers and did not got new ones for the next dish. Had to specifically ask for them after waiting for 15 min with oir plates enfront. Waited for more than 40 min for a plate of ravioli. Calamari was hard and the meat filling was not well cooked. The tomato saus was very heavy and sour. Did not dare to finish the plate. The mussels were the only ok. Only 1 type of beer 60cc or 1 option of wine per 1/2 liter.

Hotel is located very close to Palermo airport, about 10km. It's great choose if you have early morning or late night flights. Our room was spacy, clean. Good wi-fi. There is elevator, so it's easy to carry luggage. And there are parking lot near hotel. You can get italian breakfast - hot drinks, juces and some pastries. And there are great, local style restaurant, too. Very tasty, fresh seafood. We had great dinner here. For sure we will return here again.
