This is an absolute gem! The pastries are delicious and the prices are super low. Unlike some of the other pastry shops I've tried in Cisternino where prices were much higher and the pastries just average or way too sugary, this is certainly a winner. The sweets are not overly sweet and it's an amazing value for the price. The staff members are lovely as well! The little treats with almonds and white chocolate...

Bar Palazzo è la storica inimitabile pasticceria di Cisternino. Inizialmente era la latteria, come sentirete raccontare dai nonnini del paese. Bar Palazzo è un bar pasticceria a gestione familiare da generazioni: prima il mitico Ciulicchio (nel cuore di tutti noi) con Vittoria, poi Maria e Pino, per arrivare a Maria, Giuseppe e Vittorio. Ad accompagnare le varie generazioni il mitico pasticcere Cosimo, adesso la giovane e in gamba Federica. Ognuno di loro, con gentilezza e simpatia, vi farà sentire a casa tra una mandorla e una battuta! Qui potrete degustare di tutto: cornetti da colazione, torte, pasticceria secca, semifreddi, "paste" ripiena di ottima crema pasticcera, gelati artigianali e tutto ciò che la loro professionalità e fantasia riesce a creare! Ottimi anche caffé, espressini e cocktail! Luogo dove fare tappa a ogni ora...

Best Bar in Cisternino. We visited multiple times during our two weeks stay and were pleased every time. Fantastic gelato, especially dark chocolate and nocciola! You also have to dry the sweet and salty almonds. Very good. Very friendly staff especially to children....
