You know a place is good when people are queuing out the door and waiting an age to come in. Thankfully we arrived at a point where there was a free table so we're seated right away. Lovely cheeses, great pizza. I now want to go back to try the homemade desserts!

Che dire… mangiare in questa pizzeria è stata un’esperienza a metà. La pizza è davvero ottima, nulla da dire sulla qualità del cibo. Purtroppo il servizio lascia molto a desiderare: camerieri insistenti all’inizio e poi completamente assenti quando servirebbe davvero. Abbiamo chiesto una birra con la pizza ed è arrivata solo a fine pasto, come se fosse un miraggio. Il conto è arrivato con molta calma, mentre il resto non è mai arrivato. Dopo un’attesa inutile, ce ne siamo andati dicendo “ecco la mancia” con un pizzico di amarezza. Peccato, basterebbe un servizio all’altezza per rendere questa pizzeria davvero perfetta. Era qualche anno che non ci andavo, nel frattempo ha cambiato gestione, ma posso dire che il livello è rimasto alto come tanti anni fa. Ho mangiato una pizza buonissima, ho preso una Emiliana, base bianca con bufala e mortadella, con impasto di canapa e ho fatto aggiungere nel bordo il ripieno di ricotta🔝🔝🔝. Non avendo preso antipasti ci siamo gustati un buon dessert, un lingotto di cioccolato e Rocher con sfere di cioccolato e topping, e un tiramisù nel boccaccio. Mi piace tanto il locale nel centro storico di Cisternino e i ragazzi che ci lavorano offrono un ottimo servizio ai tavoli.

First things first: this is extremely popular place! Make a reservation, be early at the spot or be ready to wait a vacant table.

We were told this is one of the best, if not THE best pizzeria in the are. It was true.

The staff were friendly and professional even in the busiest moments of the evening.

The pizza itself was best we've had on this trip and definitely in the top five ever in Italy. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Be brave and try any of the not so traditional choices from the menu. You will be rewarded with a treat! And desserts are worth a try. We went for traditional tiramisu and pistachio tiramisu and they...

Brilliant pizza and friendly service. We really liked the location, in a courtyard with a couple of other restaurants - makes for a great atmosphere.

We enjoyed the food so much that we ate here twice on our holiday. Be sure to book a table in advance (phone is best, if you’re not based in the town), especially if you want to eat outside. Our boys really loved the Diavola (basically a pepperoni pizza, with olives) and the tonnetta (tuna) pizza was a winner for me. The house wine...

Such a good pizza spot! We originally went to Doppio Zero back in 2019, and we were so glad that it was just as good as we remember it when we returned this month!

What's more, they offer a pizza base made from Hemp Flour, so for coeliacs and those who can't have gluten, you're not missing out (I shared with my wife and the hemp base was just as incredible as the normal...
