The day I visited Taverna degli Artisti was one of those perfect days – sunshine, warmth, and a picturesque setting. My local friends chose this spot, and without knowing what to expect, I was so pleasantly surprised.

We sat inside, where the room was filled with natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. The décor is beautiful, especially the entrance with its rows of jars filled with preserved vegetables, all neatly displayed in a coordinated way. It instantly set the tone for the elegant yet homely dining experience ahead.

The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely made us feel well taken care of. We began with two antipasti platters featuring a generous assortment of cured meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables – they disappeared quickly! For our mains, we all ordered pasta, and I went for the Amatriciana. It was perfectly portioned, rich in flavor, and simply delicious.

An overall wonderful dining experience that felt authentic, warm, and memorable. A place I’ll definitely hold close in my Italian...

Abbiamo visto le recensioni di questa taverna ed abbiamo deciso di fermarci per pranzo, nonostante l'abbondante colazione appena fatta in un bar del posto.

Il cibo è buono. Piatti elaborati e particolari.

Purtroppo il servizio lascia a desiderare. Sembrava quasi che facessimo un torto chiedendo se fosse possibile ordinare mezza porzione di primo (non amiamo buttare via cibo) non essendo molto affamati eravamo orientati alle mezze porzioni.

Purtroppo il bicchiere con cui ho bevuto l'acqua era scheggiato, bevendo mi sono tagliata un po', l'ho fatto notare alla signora che serviva e lei invece di cambiare il bicchiere, prima non credendo alle mie parole ha voluto constatare di persona toccando e girando il bicchiere, dopodiché, invece di portarlo via portandomene un altro, ha detto che a volte capita ed è andata via.

Abbiamo preso due antipasti, due mezze porzioni di primo ed una bottiglia di acqua gassata. Oltre al servizio non molto cortese abbiamo valutato il conto abbastanza alto.

Gli antipasti buoni, ringrazio di averci dato la possibilità di prendere il primo in porzione ridotta, rimasti male per averci addebitato una MEZZA porzione 8€ (costo 11€ a porzione intera) e l'altra MEZZA porzione 11€ (costo 11€ a porzione intera) praticamente a prezzo pieno. Tot. 46€

Per il resto l'ambiente è piacevole e la cucina ha cuochi che sanno il proprio lavoro. Bravi! Peccato il servizio. Sarebbe bastato qualche sorriso in più ed un po'...

Find another place, Service was Horrible, the management did NOTHINg to assist the situation, food took 2 hours to get. People ordered food and they never got it till after prima Piata was served. We were starving, after asking the waiter and waitress that we wanted our food ASAP, they still waited. No compensation, empathy or remorse was given.
