Chalet del Pincio — Restaurant in Civitavecchia

Hands down the best gelateria in Civitavecchia, and definitely the oldest. You'll see on their wall the history of their gelateria, starting from humble cart to right now success, they deserve every ounce of it. Their gelato is just so creamy, luscious and flavorful, especially their pistachio gelato and I've had many good ones and this impresses me. Despite not speaking english most of them understand and also they charge us the same price not like the one downtown that charges us double just because we're tourist. Bad ice cream, unfriendly staff I was in here recently and was completely unimpressed by both the staff and the gelato we had. I would have had better luck going down the street to the Casa di Gelato, which is run by the Chinese. Their staff is friendlier, and their ice cream is a lot better.

So many choices of gelato. Even the smallest cone cones with two flavors. Then you can decide if you want whipped cream added on top.
