Our group of 3 ordered a pizza, a Smash burger and a Wrong burger. The pizza was rubbery. The dough has not risen at all. The tomato sauce was without flavor and very little cheese. I had the smash burger which was dried, especially around the edges. The bacon was nice and crispy. The bun was ok. It could be better if it is grilled/toasted a little bit. The French fries were the best. The Wrong burger is an open-face burger. The meat was just as dried. The dip for the potato was very tasty but the potatoes was very greasy.
Service was alright. Other than very late with the menu, the ordering, servicing were nice and efficient.
I went here because it was rated 4.8. I was very disappointed. We were all hungry for something other than Italian food. I don't know why friend still ordered a pizza since he was the one who really wanted a burger. He said he wanted a standard American burger and was not impressed with all the...
Read moreAn excellent dining experience. Despite being a chilly evening, this place had a real friendly and warm charm to it with a real hip feel too. There were fire lamps at most tables to add to the comfort. It was busy and great to see the locals pour in. The wait staff all sported Frida motifs on their outfits which was really neat. The lighting and atmosphere was cosy, not stark white like many we saw elsewhere. The wait staff spoke good English, were friendly and attentive but not pushy or in your face and were efficient at taking our orders and providing excellent service. We had a cocktail to start, an appetizer each then our main course with a bottle of wine. The quality, quantity and value of the food for our $ was excellent! Highly recommend this find - if it’s open come on in. You won’t be disappointed!! Oh, and no smoking inside, a huge plus for us which we feel might be a rarity in this town. Kudos to...
Read moreWe went to this location yesterday evening after reading about the amazing menu and possible changes to some plates you can make. Got served by a wonderful and cheery team, who all spoke exceptionel english! Only markdown we had was the constant barrage of cars and honking in this very small street, and we can't say much about the inside of this location, since we stayed outside. The food though was amazing, we chose carbonara (of course the one and only without panna!) and tortelli con zucca as main course, and had amazing entrees as well (fried pizza dough with pistachio + mortadella, burrata plus super yummy focaccia). Drinks are amazing as well with a great selection of classics and house specials. Absolutely worth it! The prices are extremely fair too, especially when dealing with so much quality. Whenever we will visit Civitavecchia again, this is a must to stop by again! Thank you for a...
