Pizzeria Senza Pensieri — Restaurant in Civitavecchia

DON'T GO HERE! It is a TOURIST TRAP. MOST OF THE LOCALS DON'T EAT AT THIS PLACE!I! F YOU WALK 200 METERS IT'S PLENTY OF DELICIOUS PLACE FOR PIZZAS. We went to pizzeria "Senza Pensieri" after a day we spent eating so we just wanted to share only one pizza together as a couple and not eating much.

What happened is that AFTER waitIng for 40 mins for a simple pizza margherita to be cooked the waitress told us our pizza was burned, so we waited another 10 minutes and then the pizza came with some hair inside so we asked to change it and we waited for 5 mins more.

Result of this lack of professionalism? When we were at the cashier they asked us 4 euros more for "coperto" . We paid because without arguing bcs it was a day of relaxation and we didn't want to have an argument and ruining the end of the day. In Italy there is a law that says if you are a restaurateur you have to indicated in the menu that clients are asked to pay cover but IT'S WASN'T WITTEN ON THEIR MENU. Even though you can refuse to pay SINCE IT'S NOT MANDATORY. NOTICE ALSO THAT FEES FOR COPERTO ARE NORMALLY ASKED FOR SOME GLAMOUROUS RESTAURANT AND NOT FOR A DIRTY TAVEN WITHOUT EVEN A PLACE TO SIT DOWN.

If it was another day I would have called municipal police straight away without even thinking. BTW The "final"Pizza(third one) was an ok dough but was without cheese as it was claimed in the menu but we were so hungry we ate it.

We wanted pizza, but since this place is close to the port we worried it'd be expensive and not very good. I couldn't have been more wrong! The people working there are super friendly, they have menus in English for those of us who aren't polyglots, and two of the employees spike English very well.

Prendo anzi prendevo la pizza 2 volte a settimana con consegna a domicilio ma nell'ultimo mese qualcosa è cambiato. Sabato 9 ordiniamo 3 pale di pizza e ci arrivano in ritardo però vengo avvisato, vabbe ci sta è sabato e capisco, sabato 23 di nuovo sempre in ritardo e vabbe... Oggi sabato 30 ordino come al solito alle 10 di mattina per le 20 ma stavolta alle 19.30 ricevo un messaggio con l'ordine cancellato. Vado in pizzeria per spiegazioni perché ho 8 persone a casa che aspettavano la pizza e mi dicono che loro il sabato non prendono ordini, quando gli faccio vedere lo storico inizia a farfugliare dicendo che era impossibile e che mi stavo inventando tutto nonostante abbia fatto vedere le prove.
