Bakery house caffè dei portici — Restaurant in Civitavecchia

Quaint and convenient location. Indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a pair of fruit smoothies. They were tasty. Wifi was suggested by signs as available but no password was posted. Did not ask for a password. We barely had LTE at this location. The people and staff seemed nice. We spent about an hour+ here. We sat inside at first for the A/C then moved outside because no internet access. Outside I had internet but my wife did not. Outside also meant consuming our smoothies with others smoking around us which is generally disgusting because the ash and/or smoke settles on everything. Unfortunately in Italy, smoking seems to be a big thing for locals no matter where you go which is why I chose inside at first. There are many food options and beverage options available though the signs are spread out inside and outside so it was a small challenge to compose our order and place our order. I'd probably go back but would ask for wifi password...

This is a wonderful place for breakfast. They have amazing croissants and pains de chocolat and their coffee is great. The owners are friendly and can serve you entirely in English without problem. The regular customers/locals coming in and out add to the atmosphere and they were all excited to speak and play with our small toddler. Highly recommended for breakfast!
