Food was good, the restaurant was nice, prices were reasonable but the service was a really unpleasant experience.
First of all they speak very little English (which itself is no problem for me, we're in Italy after all, but it made further communication a little bit difficult). I understand Italian to some degree, but speaking is still hard for me
Our waiter was unfriendly and got almost aggressive after he did not understand our order after the first time. Tried to ignore that and have a good time anyway. We then received some food we did not order, the waiter insisted that we did. After some discussion and bringing us our handwritten order notes he finally understood that there has been some mistake on their side. We had to pay for that food anyway.
We also noticed that another table nearby had some similar experience, in the end they paid 60+€ for water, bread and one fish.
The best part was that our waiter just left with a lit up cigarette in his mouth after a heated argument between him and the other staff inside the building. There was also another waiter which disappeared around the same time. At that point they were understaffed and everything took forever. We were happy to leave after paying
Maybe we hit a really bad day or something but the experience was pretty negative overall. I do not recommend this restaurant and will definitely...

Warning: English version follows below for anyone who wants to avoid the same scam.

Terrible experience: we had booked through TheFork, taking advantage of a promotional discount — everything was confirmed, we had the reservation and arrived on time. But when we got there, we were told our booking had been canceled. No prior notice, no credible explanation. In fact, at that moment the reservation was still technically active — they simply canceled it a few minutes later.
The truth? The city was packed that day due to a major event, and the restaurant clearly decided to maximize profits by canceling discounted bookings and filling tables with full-paying customers instead. This is not only unprofessional, it’s outright disrespectful to people who rely on platforms like TheFork to plan a meal.
A place that treats customers this way doesn’t deserve your trust. I strongly advise against booking here — if they decide you’re not “convenient,” they’ll turn you away at the door without a second thought. And no, don’t assume it was “a system error” or “technical issue”: it was a deliberate and...

Food was fresh and excellent and 'apparently' well-priced, but charges for water and a higher service charge than experienced in Rome resultd in higher total than expected; 10-15% higher and left bad taste in my husband's mouth.
