Ristorante MiChi?!38 — Restaurant in Claviere

We ate here as a family group with our two young children. The atmosphere was great, they certainly didn’t mind catering for the kids, and the food was really nice.

However, when it came to ordering drinks - I asked the waiter for their house white wine. He said he recommended a certain bottle and asked if I wanted to taste it. I did, and it was very nice. What I didn’t realise was that it was EU85 a bottle. Maybe the restaurant isn’t the sort of place that does “house wine”, fair enough, but then recommending one of the most expensive bottles is completely uncalled for. The 2 bottles of white wine cost more than the 5 complete meals combined!

It was a shame as we had such a great time in this restaurant, and as I said the food and wine was excellent, but this just left us feeling like we had been taken...

Esperienza culinaria eccellente; il tutto accompagnato da Maitre di sala e camerieri/e preparati/e e sempre disponibili.

Carta dei vini vasta con ottime scelte per accompagnare ogni piatto del menù.

Questo viaggio inizia con un bicchiere di prosecco fruttato, un vino Ruchè di Castagnole (scelto da noi, con il tappo della bottiglia lasciato a servizio del cliente), un burro salato montato agli agrumi con polvere di karkade e fiori di montagna.

Entree di benvenuto: Tomino in tempura, maionese al pomodoro affumicato e fiori di montagna, poi un machos con salsa di nocciola e cardoncello sotto aceto, e per pulire il palato una foglia di ostrica con primo sale, guanciale e pane speziato.

Secondi piatti (scelti da noi): Rombo marinato al miso di riso, salsa di yogurt, curcuma, erba cipollina, lingotto di zucchina gialla farcita con pesto di zucchina verde.

Piccione allo spiedo con salsa di mandorla, ketchup di susine e battuto di susine, mandorle ed aneto (cosce del piccione servite a parte a doppia cottura).

Pasticceria di fine serata: Macarons con fava di tonca e cacao amaro. Croccantini di arachidi e cioccolato fondente. Pomelo con glassa...
