This place is quite far away from anyplace and one might pay more for road and tunnel tolls than for the attraction itself but the experience is worth the trouble, just to tick it off the bucket list. Briançon town with its vauban made a good base to be able to reach here early in the day ( they open at 9 am) and Frejus tunnel had no delays at noon to go through after finishing up at the Ponte Tibetano. Coming after 10 am may resulting waiting for long queues of people to pass in front diminishing the view and the enjoyment. The promotional video on the website does not show the slopy loose gravel paths that one has to walk through to reach the bridges. Good hiking shoes recommended. There is a safety briefing at the beginning and one gets to practice how to clip and unclip the double harness to the metal ropes . Minimum height of 120 cm to go on the bridges but preferably over 140 cm to go on the via ferrata which looked indeed tough and we couldnt do as our child was only 130 cm. In any case not suited for anyone with fear of heights or those with balance issues. Clean toilets available near the ticket/reception counter for use at beginning or end of the walk. Large free parking. And the gorge is beautiful and relatively cool even in...

The Cesana Claviere Tibetan Bridge is a thrilling and unforgettable experience—perfect for adventure lovers and mountain enthusiasts. Stretching over 500 meters, it’s one of the longest Tibetan bridges in Europe, suspended high above a rocky gorge and surrounded by Alpine forest. The crossing is safe thanks to continuous lifelines and a secure harness system, but it’s not recommended for those with a fear of heights—you definitely feel the void beneath your feet!

After the bridge, you can continue the adventure with a well-equipped via ferrata (iron path), offering a moderately challenging climb through beautiful natural surroundings. It’s not overly technical but does require good physical condition and some comfort with exposure. You’ll encounter vertical rock sections, iron rungs, and sweeping views that make the effort more than worth it.

The full experience (bridge + via ferrata) takes about 2–3 hours, depending on your pace. It’s not suitable for young children or people unfamiliar with mountain terrain. Hiking shoes, technical clothing, gloves, and water are strongly recommended.

The staff is professional, friendly, and prioritizes safety. Prices are fair for such a unique activity, and you can relax or grab a bite at nearby mountain huts or cafés after the climb.

An unmissable experience for anyone looking to combine adrenaline, nature, and stunning...

Fantastic! First of all, the gorge is beautiful, and even more from above. There is a short walk to the first bridge, where the guide takes the coupon and shows you in. The bridge felt very safe and stable (as much as a suspension bridge can...). Adrenaline is there all the time, but even a height-phobic like me gets used to it and steps up. My 8-year-old did it smoothly, but I needed to help him with the carabiners, because the safety cable is high. Price is reasonable, surely recommend
