Pasticceria Bar Dolcemania — Restaurant in Colico

The service. I don't know what they're talking about the niceness & friendliness of this place but the older woman there did not serve me with such warmth. She was having a good laugh with some men as I entered smiling at them & looked around for pastry & menu. She came from behind the counter passed me like I wasn't there & went out for some seconds. Then came back in & didn't greet me until I said "Buonasera"...throughout no enthusiasm with me unlike with the male pals of hers & other customers (a family), whom she helped more enthusiastically after me. Is it because I'm Asian?? It's my first time visiting Italy.

Loved to come here every morning during vacation and sit outside drinking a cappuccino. They have great spots to sit together and chat. There's always space to sit. The ambiance is warm and light, the owners recognize our faces at the second time and greeted us with enthusiasm. Di passaggio a Colico, pressati da un appuntamento ma con un certo languorino, ci e' capitato di passare davanti a questo esercizio e ci siamo fermati, forse solo perché il parcheggio era comodo. Abbiamo ordinato un "semplice" toast, dopo aver guardato con la cuolina in bocca il loro ben di Dio di dolci. Qualcuno forse sorriderà leggendo il nostro entusiasmo per un "semplice" toast, ma non e' così! Tutto e' semplice fare, ma c'è chi il "semplice" lo fa diventare squisito! Il più buon toast che mai si sia mangiato! Prodotti di altissima qualità, abbondanti, "bruciati" al punto giusto, rendendo fragrante e croccante! Al ritorno, abbiamo deciso di acquistare un vassoio dei loro dolci, una "S" di frolla fantastica, come mai gustata, tutto eccezionale! Bravi, anzi...
