Da Luisa | Trattoria Pizzeria — Restaurant in Como

The place is fairly unassuming with a small private parking. We were a bit surprised by the suspiciously high prices per dish compared to prices of pizzas... we ended up going for a calzone, risotto, and a grill mix. We were equally surprised by the massive size of the portions. We would have been fine with half the food. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. Meat was juicy, and so was the calzone. Risotto was cooked to perfection, with rice being exactly a punto. Not to mention a pile of mussels and an immense tiger prawn it came with.

Great service as well. Great homey feeling, super helpful staff.

The pizza did look great, but the taste was absolutely not satisfying concerning the prosciutto funghi -quattro formaggi was average

prices are extremely high-the surrounding is terrible, despite the fact that we did not expect something really nice but normally where there is a trucker parking area the restaurants are fairly well priced and have a great quality which in this case for us did not...

A trattoria in a truck rest stop? Don't get fooled by the location, the restaurant has a modern but cozy ambiance inside, the staff is super friendly and the food was absolutely a surprise. The prices might seem a little high but then you realize each plate is absolutely huge. The pizza is top notch, then all our entrées were outstanding. I'm Italian and the ossobuco with risotto was the best I've ever had! Also, we were two families with 5 kids and we were totally comfortable. I will go back every time I'm in...
