El Resole' — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

Tried to visit this place two times in a row- always full in the evening so we decided to make a reservation for tonight (3rd time lucky?). We were hoping that full place means great food. Prices not too bad, choice of food quite big. But that would be it.... First of all my partner got his food before me, I've been waiting quite long for mine to arrive after that. After we got our meals we were forgotten... Two tables next to us were served few times during our stay. Waitress didn't even looked at us. Unpleasant staff and makes you feel like nothing. Finally we asked the waiter if we could get the bill (forget about eating any deserts after that). Our plates were long time empty. Of course we didn't even get a bill...waited another five minutes, already wearing our jackets. Nobody came. We had to go to the counter to pay. Maybe we were unlucky, I don't know.. But in such a place (that will have a lot of tourists) you would definitely expect better treatment than the one we received. Not...

The high ratings of this restaurant are in our opinion not justified. We visited this place over the years several times. Things which we ordered this time were hamburger, spare ribs, pizzas, fries, salad. All of this nothing special. The fries we had to send back while they were dry and not crunchy (our suspicion was it was warmed up again from a previous batch day before). Hamburger and spare ribs not very tasty. Pizza big size, but again not very tasty.. The high number of customers might be due to the lack of good and versatile restaurants in the area. Staff is fast and friendly. Coperto is 2 euro per person. Free parking in front of the restaurant. Toilet is clean and modern. Interior is alpine...

This restaurant is disappointing—we didn’t even get the chance to eat. On the first day, we were turned away because we didn’t have a reservation, even though most of the tables were empty. The next day, we made a reservation, but we still weren’t let in because, according to them, there was no space for 8 people. However, several tables had groups larger than 8, and we had a reservation. The rude waitress didn’t express any regret at all and blatantly ignored us, seating people who arrived after us. I wouldn’t recommend this terrible place to anyone!!
