Ristorante Pizzeria Galli's — Restaurant in Comunità montana Alta Valtellina

It's a difficult time in Italy, with regions returning to the yellow zone, tourism beginning, but no restaurants open for dinner. This one was open for those of us staying in aligned accommodation.

However, they were woefully unprepared for the number of customers. Firstly they had not taken our reservation earlier in the day so we had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Secondly, once seated we had to ask for menus. Then they never came to take our order, but taking the orders of other tables who had been seated after us. Needless to say we left without ordering and won't return.

Overall it seems that they are not prepared to accommodate their customers, and it was painfully obvious that except for two wait staff, the other staff were untrained and oblivious to basic functions of their role such as circulating to see which customers need menus, are ready to order etc.

Ok, it's unprecedented times, but this isn't what people want to see as they come back to keep Italian...

I was there with my parents awhile ago and we ordered a 1,4kg Fiorentina steak. The food was amazing as well as the quality of the meat. But what ruined the experience for us was the service. They were kind of rude to us and some of the waiters were really lost. We always tried to explain what we wanted in the nicest way possible but they made no effort in listening. We didn’t finish all of the food so we asked them to pack it up for take away. The waiter that then came took all of the plates at once even tough we told him they would fall, he didn’t listen wich resulted to a big piece of steak to fall on the floor. The restaurant is beautiful, but the service made it far from it. We got our pizzas before the soup, grilled vegetables were raw at first and when we told the staff about it they brought it back burned. We waited for over 30 minutes for half of the meals, and they forgot about the other half. Some of the food was good, but i do not recommend the shrimp pasta.
