Really nice place with hot atmosphere, appropriate background sound and amazing staff. I went here for the italian "apericena" and the next day also to eat in the restaurant. The experience was very positive, one of the best value for money in all Chiavenna and I wanna add an extra point for the kitchen which is really good. Good Italian restaurant in a small city on the way travelling from Italy to Switzerland. Lots of seating area, inside and outside. It is linked to a hotel which I didn't go into. The menu was good. The usual. Antipasta, pasta, gelato etc. Good coffee. Sparkling water in large bottles which isn't always normal as some restaurants in Italy insist on serving just 250ml...

Abbiamo trovato il posto per caso, ma siamo rimasti molto sorpresi e contenti. Hanno un menù tipico da hotel, dato che fa parte del Hotel Crimea, ma piatti comunque ottimi. Abbiamo ordinato due filetti di manzo, sorprendentemente perfetti, cottura giusta, carne di qualità, morbida e bel cucinata. Un piatto di trofie ai funghi e stracciatella che ci ha lasciato un minimo delusi, poca stracciatella e funghi “flosci”, troppo morbidi e poco gustosi. La bresaola invece era ottima, morbida e ben saporita. Lo staff è discretamente veloce e attento, molto premurosi, educati e rispettosi dei clienti, ottimo lavoro! Ci hanno stupito anche la vasta di scelta di ottimi vino, (ovviamente bisogna saper scegliere quello giusto in base alle pietanze scelte😉). L’atmosfera è graziosa ma nulla di speciale, soprattutto all’esterno. Minimal ma ben curata. Tema insetti, (mosche, per lo più) al quanto disturbante.
