Lovely small restaurant in center of Sondrio. Food was obviously prepared to order and was delicious. Primi of tagliatelle pasta with crab was delicately flavored - showcased the crab nicely. Secondi was fish of the day, which turned out to be nasello (hake) served with a lovely tomato, caper, and olive sauce. My wife's grilled prawns were beautifully prepared with a generous portion. We took a dessert of panna cotta with pistachios and honey sauce that was scrumptious. Only critical comment is that we love fresh breads and the bread basket was a bit disappointing. Quì il pesce la fa da padrone come è giusto che sia e lo si intuisce sin dal nome del locale: il bàcaro, infatti, è un tipo di osteria veneziana a carattere popolare, dove si trova una vasta scelta di vini in calice (ómbre o bianchéti) e piccoli cibi e spuntini (cichéti), caratterizzata da pochi posti a sedere.
