We loved this restaurant so much, we ate here two out of the three nights we were in Lake Garda—and honestly, we would’ve gone every night if we could! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made it truly stand out.

A young waitress who was brand new when we visited (on May 1 and 2, 2025) took such amazing care of us. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and accommodating—she made us feel so welcome. Both nights, we were given complimentary desserts, and on the first night, they even brought us two because we couldn’t choose!

We sat inside the first evening and loved it, but dining outside under the soft glow of the lights on the second night was even more magical.

What really set this place apart, though, was what happened on our final night. We stayed a bit late, had a taxi mishap, and ended up walking 1.5 miles back to our hotel. Halfway there—after midnight—we realized one of us had left her purse behind, with her passport inside (which was needed for a super early departure the next morning). With barely any battery left on our phones, we called the restaurant and, thankfully, someone answered right away. They remembered us immediately and had already kept the purse safe. We rushed back, and they handed it over with so much kindness and grace.

This wasn’t just a great restaurant—it was an unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful and can’t recommend it...

Very disappointing. The food didn't meet the expectations and the service was, frankly said, bad. The black angus carpaccio reminded of a ham rather than some proper meat (and I am definitely not a person who is used to fine-dining or some upper class food, but I wanted to try something tasty because this place seems to be renowned for the meat). It just wasn't what I ordered and definitely wasn't worth the price. We also shared Mozzarella di Buffala carprese. 3 slices of tomatoes etc. were served and the mozzarella was just not a Buffala. Overall, the price-performance-ratio was inacceptable because you cook better food on your own, effortless, and way cheaper. The waitresses and waiters were inattentive and negligent. They didn't light the candles, didn't pour the wine or water. When we asked if the carpaccio was the right serving, the waitress didn't come by, she just nodded and left. Afterwards, she didn't even ask whether it was tasty or not. Don't get me wrong, these are usually only small gestures, but all in all, it's been just a bad service. We've been at the restaurant a year ago and it was absolutely lovely. The service was outstanding and the food met the expectations of some good recommendations. Obviously, the management changed. We explicitly came to Gardone Riviera because of this very restaurant. Unfortunately, we experienced similar things like other...

Walked In from the rain (Relevant later)

No reservation however my girlfriend and I were sat down immediately. Originally on a table with a really annoying spot light so we asked to angle the light differently and instead they moved our seating completely and bumped a reserved table for us.

I was convinced our meal was fated for spit balls but nothing of the sort. I asked the waiter to suggest a local wine to which his enthusiasm ignited and he talked me through in Italian/English - we laughed and I chose the bottle shown (Locally produced in this region)

Starters were carpaccio with black truffle, Parmesan shavings and rocket and oil - INSANE! Then a Lake Garda fish taglione with garlic and parsley - Simple but incredible.

Mains were a rocket and garlic prawn pizza and roasted pepper and prosciutto pizza - with all the condiments - it’s a pizzeria, need I say more? The pizza, to put it bluntly, was fu*king beautiful.

The dessert was sold out so we got ice cream on the house (homemade) and some traditional grappa (as per Italian custom)

The waiters consistently checked we were okay, topped up the wine and deserved their additional tip - the service was incredible.

They even offered us an umbrella on the way out!

GO HERE - THEY DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM.

It is a very nice restaurant on street that goes uphill form the promenade. The food selection consists mostly of fish and some Italian classics like pizza and pastas. Portions are not very large but perfect if you take an appetizer and a first dish. From the desserts the tiramisu was not our favorite but the Creme brûlée was perfect, would recommend. It can get very busy and we were very lucky to get a table as walk-in’s but it would be best to reserve a table beforehand.
