For some reason I can’t find this place on Tripadvisor, where I am a prolific reviewer.

But it definitely deserves a mention as it was the best restaurant we ate at while in Gordone.

Granted, out of season there are fewer places open, but those that are, all sell the exact same. And it becomes tedious after a week.

We found this little place and between a pasta ragu and the grilled chicken/grilled veg, had a lovely meal. Simple, but hot and tasty. And not MORE pizza!

Small touches like a complimentary amuse-bouche (glass of something!), a shot of lemonchello afterwards, plus a small dessert wine with biscotti all placed this restaurant a considerable notch above the rest. None of it asked for (or expected) … just part of a more sophisticated establishment.

Despite serving on her own on this particular evening, Ksenija was a delightful and welcoming host, with excellent linguistic skills. Busy but conversing in multiple languages in a friendly and conversational manner, she made the evening!! Lovely lady!!

The one thing that would make all venues in this narrow alley stand out would be some string lights above, between the buildings. It’s so quaint but lacks the atmosphere of other little...

We have been here a week and this lovely little restaurant outshines every other place we have eaten in by far!! So much so that we went back twice! (Be sure to BOOK AHEAD though!) It’s cosy and quaint, with traditional decoration and reminiscent photos all over the walls of Gardonne in a bygone era, which is lovely to look at during your meal. The two lovely waitresses warmly welcome you upon arrival. We felt like we were being welcomed into their living room, as the restaurant is so cute and cosy. The food is totally DELICIOUS! I’d go as far as to say the prawn starter and “burrata” that my husband and I had were the best we have ever tasted!! The trout also was divine! We received fabulous recommendations about the side dishes and wine, all of which were superb! This place is “definite-must”, if you are in the Gardonne Riviera area! 👍😋

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by two wonderful waitresses—friendly, attentive, always smiling, and incredibly helpful. Their hospitality truly set the tone for a great dining experience.

A big thank you to the chef as well—every dish was a delight. Beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and absolutely mouthwatering.

We started with two appetizers and followed with two steak dishes. The salmon tartare was a standout—fresh, flavorful, and something I’d happily order again and again. The steaks were a pleasant surprise too—perfectly cooked and incredibly tender.

To end on a sweet note, don’t miss their tiramisu. It’s rich, creamy, and a perfect “yum” moment to wrap up the meal.

In short: a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere, the service, and every bite exceeded expectations. Very highly...
