Due Scale Restaurant — Restaurant in Comunità Montana Valli del Verbano

Scheinbar waren wir in einem anderen Restaurant wie alle anderen hier. Die sehr guten Bewertungen haben uns dazu veranlasst, hier einen schönen Abend mit vermeintlich gutem Essen zu verbringen. Wir waren 6 Personen, und leider, egal welche Vor- und auch Hauptspeise, es ist nichts empfehlenswert. Meine Meeresfrüchtevorspeise bestand aus vertrockneten Muscheln, komplett trockenen Garnelen und scheinbar aufgetauten, wässrigen, geschmacksneutralen Meeresfrüchten. Die Hauptspeise meines Mannes und zwei anderen Personen-Gegrillter Fisch aus dem Meer- bestand zur Hauptsache aus zu lange gegartem Fisch, der natürlich auch völlig trocken war. Meine Freundin hatte Lachsstückchen, denen man schon von weitem angesehen hat, dass er ebenfalls furchtbar trocken ist. So war es dann auch. Dasselbe mit meinem ebenfalls in Stücke geschnittenem Seeteufel. Wenn der Wein ausging, sind wir selber nach vorne, um nachzubestellen, weil niemand kam, um zu schauen, ob etwas fehlt. Man fühlte sich zu keiner Zeit willkommen. Wir haben nichts reklamiert, das hätte den Rahmen gesprengt, denn bis auf ein Rinderfilet, hätten wir alles reklamieren müssen. Dazu liegt es preislich schon im höheren Bereich. Sehr sehr schade, denn ich hätte es wirklich sehr gerne weiter empfohlen. Kann ich aber...

La prossima volta leggerò meglio le recensioni e troverò anche in quelle a 4* i riscontri che abbiamo avuto in questo pranzo. C'erano ottime aspettative data la media voto delle recensioni, purtroppo sono state disattese. Servizio molto lento (dopo 1 ora gli antipasti) probabilmente dovuto ad uno staff troppo ridotto soprattutto in cucina, la ragazza ai tavoli visibilmente ansiosa sin dal "benvenuto", volto teso dall'ingresso sino alla fine (forse sempre colpa dello stress da sotto staff?), ma questi 2 aspetti negativi li avrei anche dimenticati a fronte di una buona cucina, invece... Antipasto di mare caldo insipido con uno scampo vuoto, capesante stracotte che avevano perso totalmente la loro consistenza e sapore, i cubotti di rana pescatrice insipidi con accostamento di sapori forti quali zafferano e pancetta che ne annullavano ulteriormente il sapore, apprezzato soltanto i culurgiones al sugo bianco di branzino e vongole ed il dolce. Peccato perché la location è particolare e secondo me ci sono margini di miglioramento. P.S. We are not Italian so obviously we didn’t eat that much seafood pasta in our lives but the one that we ate at Due Scale restaurant was unquestionably the best. The cheese platter was also delicious (a bit much for 2 people actually, but we took no wine to it, maybe next time).
