Awesome vibe, decent food (more on this later), very kind and honest owner, flat tasting beer, terrible service.
I brought a group of 6 here to celebrate a family reunion. The restaurant was accommodating and fit us in without issue with 24-hour notice. We arrived and the owner was very warm and friendly, but the rest of the staff never greeted us, never said thanks/you’re welcome, was terse and short in their demeanor and never checked on us. They also left without a word half way through taking orders, which was bizarre.
The beer we received was flat in flavor and fizz (I think it was a Blanche beer that was particularly bad), the food came out extremely quickly, and all at once even though we ordered appetizers as a first course. So the table overflowed with food, cold things got warm, hot food got cold, and some things that are impossible to fully cook in the 10-15 minutes it took to come out were undercooked- the venison burger was raw; we love a “rare” burger but still cold and bloody, my wife couldn’t finish half of it. One of the members received something random they didn’t order. The food overall was fairly good, but I’m not sure I could recommend a burger between the uncooked venison and the house burger that lacked much flavor.
There was a language barrier (our fault), but we tried to be clear, polite, and organized. Maybe we came too late? (8pm?) they vacuumed a nearby table at the end of our fast service, but at least 5 other tables were seated when we left. They seemed noticeably kinder to other patrons. They didn’t collect menus after ordering, and didn’t distribute dessert menus: the waitress essentially tossed them at one of our group members; it seemed obvious she didn’t want to incentivize us to order a dessert. The one member that did loved it: too bad we felt like ordering more was an imposition.
Not sure what we did to offend or upset the staff, but it’s hard to give an above average review after the experience we had.

Small update: went to the local brewery where their beer is brewed, ordered the same thing and it was incredible! There is a problem with their Blanche keg at Home Stube, which is unfortunately but maybe another sign of...
Read moreTop stube in Campiglio centre, will recommend to all my friends looking for a really cozy place where to eat with awesome food in Campiglio. Loved the unfiltered beer too. UPDATE: went back after 4 years and honestly didn't recognise the place as the food was not remotely up to par to what it was last time. We had canederli a typical bread dumpling from this region and pork ribs. After we ordered, we got our food in 5 minutes. Which was odd considering the place was half empty. That could only mean that the food was ready in advance and they warmed it up somehow for us. And we could tell: the canederli were not moist and too packed with bread and the ribs were too dry. Also the "bottled water" they serve is just filtered tap water. Two dishes, a rack of ribs of that quality and water did not warrant the 74 euro we paid. Won't be back...
Read moreThe food was quite mediocre, especially for the price. The beer was good but also pricy, but that is not the relevant part, we ordered the escargot, which was way overcooked. The veggie burger was so dry that we had to add multiple packs of mayo. Then we arrived in the horror show that was the dishes of the day, the lamb was way to citric, and we ordered a meat dish apparently for 1 person, but easly would feed 2, no disclaymer on the price that ended up being 90€ for a piece of meat, no side dishes, just meat, and half of the meat was soo overcooked that we couldn't even touch because was extra chewy.
So to recap, a dish of the day with 2 little pieces of meat, no sides, 1 piece over done to the point was not edible, and the surprise 90€, I would say run, there are way better options around with a clear...
