As part of our private tour, The Milky Mountains Route - Ravello - Lemon Tour Experience, we had the absolute pleasure of visiting a charming restaurant on the Amalfi Coast countryside. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a journey into the heart of Italian culture and cuisine, made unforgettable by the charismatic and humorous owner, Chefiore. From the moment we arrived, Chefiore welcomed us with open arms and an infectious smile that immediately set the tone for an extraordinary experience. His charm and wit made us feel like we were reconnecting with an old friend. The setting was picture-perfect, surrounded by verdant lemon groves and breathtaking views of the Amalfi countryside. It was the epitome of rustic elegance, with every detail adding to the authenticity of this hidden gem. The meal itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the freshest local ingredients and the rich culinary traditions of the region. From velvety handmade pasta to the most flavorful lemon-infused seafood, every bite was a delight. Of course, the grand finale was their homemade limoncello, and here’s where the experience became truly magical. Chefiore didn’t just serve us limoncello—he taught us how to make it! In a fun and engaging demonstration, he walked us through the process, sharing family secrets and tips while recounting delightful anecdotes about his life on the Amalfi Coast. Watching him peel fresh lemons straight from his grove and explain the infusion process made us appreciate this iconic drink even more. And when we finally sipped the limoncello, we could taste the passion and tradition in every drop. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a celebration of Italian heritage, made unforgettable by the warm hospitality and boundless energy of Chefiore. If you’re planning a visit to the Amalfi Coast, this culinary gem is a must-experience destination. It’s more than a restaurant—it’s a memory that will stay with you forever!

Per me ottimo!

We have eaten at Michelin Stared restaurants all over the world, and we have never had a finer, tastier, or more delicious meal than we have had here at Le Bontà del Capo. The pasta's are all sublime, the ravioli stuffed with sea bass maybe the best we have tried, but they are all 10/10 so choosing is difficult. Each of the seafood dishes have been prepared perfectly, full of flavor and wonderful tastes that meld wonderfully in your mouth. The two pizza's have been some of the best anywhere, about equal to the duck and truffle pizza's we have had in the Dordogne and that's saying something. The view down along the Amalfi coast and the little stone watch tower is world class, and the service is super attentive, fun and joyful, they seem to love their work and it really shows and creates a fun lively atmosphere. I have saved the best for last--- the desserts. Heavenly is the only word available for this experience, the Tiramisu, Lemon Cake, and Rum Babba... I don't think any of us have had better, and it was sad to finish the last bite. But then we will be back again tomorrow night, because while this really is Michelin Stared quality the prices are an absolute steal. If you are in the Amalfi region, this is an absolute MUST!

If you’re ever in the area and want to experience real, authentic Italian dinner vibes — Le Bontà del Capo is the place! Visiting this place felt like stumbling upon a secret that I almost don’t want to share just so it stays as magical as it is. We went for dinner here on the last night of our trip and honestly, it wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience. Imagine delicious food, lively music, karaoke, laughter, and that warm, family-style atmosphere you hear about in Italian tales… that’s exactly what we got! The ambience was perfect — cozy yet full of life. We saw families laughing together, strangers bonding over glasses of wine and refreshing limoncello, and an entire restaurant filled with joy. The staff wasn’t just serving food; they were part of the fun. They joined the karaoke, danced with guests, and really made us feel like part of their extended family. Special shoutout to Camila – girl, you’ve got serious moves! And the chef? WOW. Not only does he serve mouthwatering dishes, but he also has a singing voice that could melt anyone’s heart. By the end of the night, the chef, the staff, and the manager were all dancing and singing with us — it was pure magic. Speaking of the manager — what a gentleman! From the moment we arrived (yes, they even offer pick-up and drop-off service — such a nice touch!) until the moment we left, he made sure we had the best possible time. Chivalry is definitely not dead. He personally escorted me, participated in karaoke, and danced with the crowd, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. We were staying at Hotel La Tarrezza (another hidden gem!) and the local concierge recommended this place to us — BEST decision ever. This wasn’t just a dinner; it was a slice of Italian culture, filled with love, laughter, and connection. I truly hope Le Bontà del Capo never changes and keeps offering this genuine, heartwarming experience — not just turning into one of those “Instagram spots” where the food is overpriced and the soul is missing. Here, you get both the food AND the soul of Italy. Grazie mille for the memories — I’ll be...

If you have taste, I would not recommend this restaurant to you. I feel compelled to warn others to spare them the same fate.

We went here at the recommendation of our B&B and regret not doing more diligence before dining here. This was one of the stranger dining experiences that I have had in recent memory and the worst restaurant that I have been to in Italy across three visits over nearly 20 years. This is a large restaurant that caters to a certain type of tourist. While some may enjoy it for the setting, this is not a place for those which care about quality food and service.

We were placed directly in front of a singer. I did not realize until after we were seated because the singer was seated behind us! As a result my husband and I found ourselves screaming at each other during dinner. Live music is great, but placement and acoustics are important. Plus, the singer was not so great - perhaps due to the fact that she remained seated while singing.

It gets worse. Our order was not taken for over 30 minutes, despite being placed in a very prominent position. This was an exception to all of the wonderful dining experiences we had in Italy. We should have trusted our gut and walked out.

As for the food, it was slop. It came so quickly you could tell it was mostly prepared. For some reason I could not order spaghetti vongole for one person, which I have never seen before in my entire life as an avid connoisseur of clams. I will say my husband had a good steak and our dessert was good, but the experience was sullied by the terrible table and service.

Then the karaoke started. Guests were encouraged to join in on the fun. I’ve never been on a cruise, but it felt like we were on one.

I have never been embarrassed to be at a restaurant, but there is a first time for everything. I am also sorry to write a bad review, but I am someone who relies on reviews when traveling, so I feel the need to pay it forward to the discerning diners out there. The only upside to this was that it makes me appreciate all of the lovely dining experiences that we have...
