The Best Gelato in the region... without a doubt. Every year my husband and I try to find the best wines and the best gelato in Italy. For wine this is a difficult task... but not for Gelato. Without a doubt this is the most creamy, most flavorful gelato we have ever found. Each day the owner makes different flavors from scratch and they are served at the perfect temperature. Piscachio is my favorite (and how can it be a frozen treat that tastes like roasted nuts) but their fruit flavors are outstanding as well. There are several local gelaterias in Camucia and Cortona, but not one of them is the quality of Primo Amore. This is the best Gelato I’ve ever had! There are a wide variety of flavors, each one more delicious than the next (it doesn’t get much better than Biscocrock)!! They also have Granitas (a fruit slushie)that we ordered with a dollop of vanilla cream gelato. It was insanely good. The service is amazing - super friendly.
