La Loge du Massif — Restaurant in Courmayeur

My wife and my 3 years daughter was in this restaurant on the first week of Jan 2022,they didn't like at all....they waited for more than 15 minutes to a waiter to come and say hello and bring the menu....the blond/bold waiter on the first floor,seem to be extremely unhappy working,no patience at all,it seems he only wants to help and serve young people and posh people.....the food was OK,the place is beautiful,but the staff was not professional at all....lots of waiter and really bad service😔The only great service they got it was form the hostess/cashier girl,very polite and always smiling,from the girl who was in the bar,preparing the drinks and coffee,She was very pleasant,and did play with our daughter..and from the manager/maitre Alessandro,they got very good service was well in the moment they booked the table....I would recommend this place only for the view,but for the service they need to...

NOT RECOMMENDED! - Service was horrendous, we ordered a board of Parma Ham and selection of cheeses and some drinks.. only half the dinks arrived and we had to ask twice where the other drinks were, when they brought them they were the wrong drinks. Then we received a plate of ham only, after few minutes when nothing else arrived we asked where the cheese was, they brought us a plate of Parmesan... when we asked for explanation they said “today we only serve this” - then you should say that is NOT a selection when I order the dish which costs €29! Overpriced for no reason since the service is awful, quality of food below standard, on the upside the place looks nice. Spend your money in the places next door, better...

Second time here and quite mixed feelings. The view from the terrace is nothing short of amazing. The food is generally very good but not consistent (of course from our subjective point of view)- some dishes are great, ceviche for example is questionable. Bubbles starting from 90€, but it is a good franciacorta. The service quality is the main weakness from my point of view.
