The food was pretty well made but the portions were a bit small and overpriced. Glass of house wine for 4€!! We enjoyed our food but left with a bitter taste because of the bill nearly reaching 40€ for 2 people. We were not expecting that amount that's all.

Ps: Reply to the reply : 1: comparing prices of things according to countries is wrong. Also a bottle of water doesn't cost 8€in France. We have been travelling Sicily for 2 months now and we had better portions for half this price before. I had to finish my daughter's egg rolls as I was not full with 5 of your portions! 2: we only had anchovy cakes but all our food was vegetarian. We Didn't have any seafood pasta no! 3: Our 3 years old daughter ate from what I had in my plate apart from a few egg rolls. You charged us 3 "coperti" and not 2 as you are saying. 4: gluten free bread is not such a big thing, we actually came to your place because of a review saying you had gf panini. The rest was naturally gluten free as it was a few potatoes and vegetarian dishes. 5: and last one forgive me: I asked for a vino di casa (cheapest usually), and 4€ for a glass is more than the price in France for a house wine! Not sure where you went in France, if you went, but once again comparing prices isn't the right thing to do unless you are making tourist prices which is your choice which I respect. Glass of wine in Switzerland is maybe 8€..would you change your prices because of swiss customers?

In the end, as I said, the food was really nice but overpriced to our appreciation and what we know of Sicily. I hope this exchange will be a lesson for both of...

My 4 friends and I stopped off here on our drive from Palermo to Avola looking for a bite to eat for lunch and a comfort break. We stumbled across this brilliant hidden gem in town and it didn't disappoint! The staff were lovely - they kindly explained what all the food was to us in English, we were served quickly and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything I ate was fantastic - my favourite were the little rolled up pizzas (like mini calzones?!) I left feeling satisfied and full...

Awful food - Food was cold and not fresh - grilled eggplants tasted fishy and we had stomach problems after the food. Didn’t finish the food (50% left on plate). Food is served on plastic plates. My feeling is there are a lot of Fake Reviews here. FYI: they don’t speak English (which is not an issue), even if they perfectly answer in English...
