I just had a slice of margarita and spicy pizza (sorry I don’t know the name but it’s got some kick so thanks for the warning, tasty though), and an arancino to takeaway. The gentleman serving was very polite and helpful, and his English was good so I had no issues ordering what I wanted. The arancino was so easy to eat with stewed beef inside that goes so well and clean that you don’t get any greasy after effects. I love that the locals were getting a slice and just eating straight away, then paying after (which just wouldn’t happen in London). Didn’t get a chance to eat. Closed. Drove 40 minutes out of the way as hours on google said they were open. Will update/remove review when hours are properly updated. Wish I had a chance to eat and avoid the earful I got from my wife as I told her not to eat earlier as we were on a mission to eat here. A real bad move to not have updated opening hours. Lovely atmosphere, the lady behind the counter is very welcoming and the younger gentlemen equally so. Best thing is the coming and going of the locals, they bring the place alive with their stories, encounters and presence. If you speak a bit of Italian, this is a good place to practise.
