Moon Restaurant — Restaurant in Ferrara

My bf(Ferrarese) and I came to this korean restaurant Moon because he has been talking about here and wanting to try out and i was missing korean food and definitely soju and makkoli. We entered happily though the first impression was we were disturbing the waiter most likely Italian and waitress whom Im guessing is chinese. They were chatting and avoiding us till we asked for help. We asked politely if we could order some Makkoli or Soju, immediately the attitude changed from not caring to walking away from us and exclaimed this is not a place for Aperitivo. Well, we havent completed our sentence about ordering some food. Not a complete meal but small dishes. The Italian waiter shows plain snobbishness and just ignored us anyway. (I cannot understand the snobbishness since we were willing to pay Makkoli and Soju each costs 8-10 euros each) We decided to ask for a menu to further explain that we would order some food too though not a full dinner. There was Tteokbokki(spicy rice cake) in the menu so we asked the waitress again if we could order some Soju with food maybe a Tteokbokki and something else. Again, the waitress repeated what they said just now about not accepting us as customers and directed us out of the restaurant to a bar next door. Such conceitedness. I have not yet experience in Ferrara such poor treatment in the service industry where there are so many nice and professional people around. Extremely poor service and bad attitude from the waiter and waitress. No matter how good the food is, there is no excuse for treating your customers with such terribly poor attitude. You guys need to reflect. Or maybe not anyway you lost some customers. Btw, it was 7.05pm on a Thursday, the restaurant was empty. We said we leave soon due to another appoinment. Oh well. Ridiculous....

Non credo che torneremo. Il locale è moderno, pulito e curato, ma il servizio ha "peccato alla grande" per tutta la cena. Eravamo in 2 e siamo stati al Moon a cena una sera nel weekend prima di ferragosto, il ristorante aveva molti tavoli occupati, ma non era pieno. Abbiamo ordinato 1 antipasto da dividere, 2 primi, 2 secondi e 2 dolci e tutte le portate ci sono state state servite in momenti diversi: voglio dire, il mio primo è arrivato 10 minuti prima di quello del mio compagno, io ho dovuto guardare lui mangiare il suo secondo perche il mio ha tardato un po..e additittura i dolci (di cui hanno ina buona scelta, ma sono tutti congelati, non fatti in casa) sono arrivati spaiati! Insomma, ciò che ci sia aspetta quando si va al ristorante (specialmente in coppia) è almeno di mangiare contemporaneamente.. A fine pasto, invogliati dalla varietà di dolci scritti sul menù, ordiniamo una creme brulee ai frutti di bosco e un tortino al the verde, invece arrivano un sorbetto e (dopo alcuni minuti) una creme "non BRULEE", praticamente era più una panna cotta al caramello, perché della buonissima crosticina croccante nemmeno l'ombra.. Il cibo è discreto, nulla di indimenticabile, e il conto troppo caro per quello che si mangia. Servizio molto frettoloso e distratto e nè i camerieri durante la cena, né la persona che ci ha fatto pagare al bancone ci hanno mai chiesto se fosse tutto a posto.. Insomma, una...

Ambiente del ristorante molto raffinato, il cibo buono anche se poca scelta nel menù perché per i miei gusti mi piacevo solo due cose ma parare personale. Ma una cosa davvero fastidiosa era la cameriera che già a ordinare insisteva dicendo di aver ordinato tanto perché le porzioni erano abbondanti (in tre persone abbiamo ordato tre antipasti da dividere, uno ha ordinato due secondi, io solo un primo e l'altro un primo e un secondo) e nonostante dicessimo che non era tanta la roba ordinata lei insisteva dicendo che ora ricontava i piatti per capire se fossero tanti, davvero irrispettoso sta cosa anche perché è un menù alla carta e alla fine io la roba che prendo la pago quindi anche se non la finissi potrei comunque portarlo a casa, ma ciò non succede perché le persone a detta loro abbondanti non lo erano affatto (infatti siamo usciti con la fame) e uno pensa ma potevate ordinare alte cose, invece no perché a una certa arriva la cameriera e ci dice "ah ma nessuno vi ha detto che dovete liberare il tavolo?" Noi esterdetti ci alziamo e ce ne andiamo, cioè uno esce per fare una serata fuori per rilassarsi invece deve sentirsi dire che sta mangiando troppo o che si deve muovere... non credo che...
