La Locanda di Lò — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

Sadly we were disappointed by the choice of vegan dishes on the menu. When we read the recommendations on this restaurant and the menu on the restaurant door we were excited to find a vegan place. The ordered dishes were the burger, the soy/pea dish and penne d’arrabiata. The penne was good but the other dishes not satisfying and made without any passion. On the other hand The waiters and the atmosphere were very nice. I suppose for not-vegan choices this restaurant will suffice but not for vegan...

Lovely place with excellent food

We came late (it was almost nine in the evening) and had to wait for half an hour for a table for five people - but, boy, it was worth waiting! Perfectly grilled meat, spicy pasta, wonderful flavours. The hostess is vegan and so they have some really interesting vegan dishes. per quanto possa essere buono il cibo, tra l'altro senza infamia e senza lode, quando il servizio è pessimo, non rimane un buon ricordo del posto. Da turisti occasionali siamo stati due volte in due anni, sperando che la situazione migliorasse, ma vedo che al massimo, peggiora. Il proprietario è scorbutico, un posto dove il cliente non ha mai ragione e anzi, se osa chiedere qualcosa viene anche quasi trattato male, servizio lento, mezz'ora per sparecchiare piatti finiti, un'ora piena di attesa tra una portata e l'altra, locale mezzo vuoto in settimana, non parlo del caos del weekend. Ciliegina sulla torta, si rifiutano di accettare conti separati, anche se il gruppo è numeroso e per qualsiasi motivo pratico e legittimo necessita di pagare separatamente, si rifiutano categoricamente pur sapendo essere illegale imporre un pagamento unico, l'anno scorso era addirittura scritto fuori, quest'anno hanno ammesso non essere possibile scriverlo ma la regola rimane, evidentemente qualcuno si è lamentato, ma anziché capire e andare incontro al cliente, hanno semplicemente deciso di andare avanti con la loro politica di nascosto; non vale la pena l'atmosfera perché a Final Borgo tutti i locali sono belli e hanno una bella atmosfera, data dal luogo stesso, non dallo specifico ristorante, perciò...
