Osteria Di Fuori Porta — Restaurant in Fiumicino

The owner was amazing and his father was an absolute gem. I even talked the father into having a shot with us. The owner also had a shot with us , but that was later on and after we got to know him a little bit. Absolute beautiful place and definitely recommend checking this place out. Very casual and kind of like a dive bar in the United States, but with some great Italian flair. Mario, you were amazing and definitely made the experience that much better. Thank you for all of the conversation and having such a great place for people to come. Enjoy a great Italian experience. I hope to see you again soon when you make your trip to the USA.

We were here on our last night before flying out of the Rome airport and it definitely did not disappoint! The house red wine was incredible and we were brought a charcuterie board for 2 a few minutes after we were sat. Everything was so fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed every item on the board. We also ordered 2 paninis and the server helped us select which meats, cheeses, and veggies would best compliment eachother. The service was fast and friendly and our entire meal was surprisingly affordable given the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. Wow! Thanks to Mario and his wonderful staff, we had the best meal of our stay! The shared plate of local food (the Grande for the 3 of us - 30 euros) and local natural wine (I'm not usually able to drink any -because of the sulfites- and I was perfectly fine with this one) were the perfect combinaition for our last diner in Italy! I would recommand this place to anyone who stays for the night in Fiumicino and needs to relax, have fun or meet new people!
